One thing about Clementine being the player character is in order to put responsibility on the player and have inter-party tension like the first game, people really don’t act like she's a child. Stuff like 'How dare you not save him!' feels a lot more irrational directed at Clementine than at Lee.
Yeah that’s a common criticism of this season, all the adults expect the moon and the stars of Clem, most LPers are like “I’M A CHILD HELLO!!!” lol
Yeah, luckily Part 4 kinda negates this by making all the other characters in the group kids/teens too, lol.
"Do you want to juggle knives?" "I found a big cartoon bomb, should I light it?" Lmaoooo
man i know they said this in the last episode but playing as a child in these scenarios is so much scarier than playing as an able bodied grown man. you're so much more vulnerable both physically and socially. it really ramps up the tension.
the scene where carver is snooping around the house gives me chills literally every single time even though I've played the game before. like it is so tense. i love this game so much
She absolutely HATES you if you ask whose baby is it, but oh my gosh if it isn’t one of the funniest interactions in the whole game idk what is. You can make Clem so sassy in this season and it’s genuinely hilarious
Yay! Another episode of "Marie Ruins Her Blood Pressure for Our Enjoyment"!
Man, they were right, Mean Nephew Nick really is “We have Kenny at home”.
The companionship feel of this channel helps when I need to get stuff done and be in solitude for awhile.🙂It's nice! Helps me feel like I'm chilling around friends.
sarah: get me in a good pose!
*gives camera to clem*
sarah: okay! i'm rea-
*CLICK*
god, marie's premature clicking with the dialogue cutting off got me good lmaoooo
Oh man, i think Carver is up there as one of the scariest villains in TWD. His first scene is so tense, Marie is doing great
THE RAE DUNN LADIES Marie you are SO right that made me cackle
Clem really does have such a good "You're full of shit" face lol
I just want Clementine to have all the juice boxes in the world
I love the extra layer of sass Clem has. This cruel world has carved away at her innocence. The fact that people ask her to do most things (despite being the smallest/youngest) but also treat her like a little kid at the same time certainly doesn't help.
Wow I think this is the first time I've seen someone grab the knife XD
It used to be I would plan to play a game multiple times when I was a kid and I would do the worst/meanest options the first time. Doing this game that way and making Clem the messiest bitch would be unhinged! I'll probably just watch an "every worst option" video.
Of COURSE someone had to freaking snipe the first person we found who was nice with no hidden agenda. LMAO.
The Baldmove podcast guys did that. They did a Bad Guy Lee and Bad Guy Clementine series.
The voice over of these episodes is ripe for animatics

Just went on my lunch break to see another episode of the screaming dead
I love you guys and keep up the amazing work
as far as I know Clem is 11 at this point citation needed
She had just turned 9 at the end of season 1 when Christa's pregnancy wasn't showing, then she was 7-8 months pregnant at the beginning of 2, then it jumps to 16 months after Omid's death, so yeah she's 11
I'm still at 13:56 and the contrast between Sarah and Clementine is kind of interesting.
Clementine's more of a child while Sarah looks like an older teenager to me, but their behaviour and demeanour are very different because of what they've gone through and their caregiver's choices.
Lee protected Clementine throughout Season 1 of this game, but eventually chose to teach her how to protect herself, including how to use a gun. He also gets bitten and Clementine has to mercy kill him. She also had to fend for herself after Lee's death. Because of this, Clementine is more prepared to protect herself and much more aware of how dangerous the world can be.
On the other hand, Carlos is not only protecting Sarah from physical danger, which is quite reasonable given the number of adults on hand in the group, but he even actively shields her from knowing what's going on, presumably in an attempt to protect from mental distress. This is very infantilizing and counterproductive. It reduces her preparedness to protect herself not only in terms of practical skills (e.g. using a gun), but also in terms of mindset. If she ends up facing danger, she is more likely to panic as opposed to facing it levelheadedly. You could say that Carlos makes the opposite decision to Lee. It's easy to make fun of Sarah waving the gun around, but I think it's actually encouraging that she's at least thinking about such things.
Because of the difference between Clementine and Sarah, it potentially creates the situation where a child (Clementine) is the one protecting a teenager (Sarah), even though one would expect the reverse to be true.
Omg 😱

The scary man!
And the bridge!
I trusted the long-haired guy, but he died. 😭
Is there a route where carver doesn't go into the house? :o He kinda seems like he'd break in regardless
I'm pretty sure you can't prevent him from entering the house. The scene is both an introduction to Carver and what gets the group to leave, so it kind of makes sense that it always happens.
yaaaay more walking dead
MAYBE spoilers just in case:
did the last season establish that if you die you turn regardless, not only bites? Is that common knowledge yet ingame a la the show after a certain point, or not?
Yes, iirc the characters learned that early on in season 1. They learn that around when Ben joins the group I believe
Is it possible to save bridge guy from dying? I’ve never seen him live and his death is so unfair ☹️
Sadly, his death cannot be avoided. :(
Clems age makes no sense from my memory, she mentions being in 1st grade just before the plague started and then she’s like “I’m 9 now!!” During the last season. She’s probably 10-11 here
*sigh...*
Nick starting his Ben arc already.
I better see an account named CaptainVideoGame down here!
also ayo Michael Madsen's in this???
I don't think I would ever want to see a movie with Anne-Marie
11:40 (regarding this moment only)

Is it possible to avoid taking Sarah’s photo?
I looked it up and apparently, if Clem doesn't take the picture, Sarah will just take a selfie.
@@LetsKei Oh no! 😭😭😭
@@LetsKeiAlso didn’t want to see spoilers so I didn’t look it up myself.
Please play borderlands 3! Definitely play fl4k!
Marie's lack of attention to details is kinda hilarious am i the only one who noticed pete got bit? I would have chose that interaction tbh lol.
It’s worse than that in the last episode she said that’s why she didn’t save him
you are definitely not the only one who noticed Pete got bit, considering Marie said last episode that Pete got bit
I feel like Marie is a bit too nice and complaicent for this season's tone.
Adults acting like imbaciles and endangering clems life, others are just incredibly disrespectful and rude for no reason, then you have Carter forcing his way into a Childs home.
Yet the closest thing Clem gets to standing up for herself from Marie is the silent treatment...
Obviously i mean no disrespect to Marie of course, it's just that Season 2 is notorious for it's writing being completely unreasonable towards clem and her choices in situations, and i don't think Marie's nature is going to do any favours to the story.
Anyway loving the playthrough, watching Marie have a full blown panic attack every QTE is peak cinema :)
Jesus the talking over everything is a bit much
