Nadine. I’m going to be 60 soon and I’m completely lost in my skin care. Can you please do a vlog for us older gals giving us a solid routine - day and night - and recommend products. My skin has changed and is now dryer than it was and lacks volume. He’s hoping you’ll help 😊🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Actually silymarin CF prevents squalene oxidation by up to 76%, which is the main component of sebum that gets oxidized, when it gets oxidized it not only creates inflammation but it also makes the sebum thick and way more likely to clog pores, so it improves the quality fo the sebum and prevents breakouts by preventing acne from forming in the first place at the very beginning of the acne cycle. Squalene oxidation sets the stage for acne development, creating the ideal environment for acne causing bacteria to thrive, so by preventing it you prevent acne from forming. This keeps the sebum from becoming thick and comedogenic, instead it keeps it nice and runny and prevents inflammation associated with oxidation of sebum. In addition, silymarin and ferulic acid are both anti inflammatory ingredients and acne is an inflammatory condition.

Honest Beauty is also available at Boots. They stocked it before Cult Beauty did. Actually, I think that Boots have been on some sort of roll this past year - they've literally gone from a pharmacy with maybe some 'same old, same old' make-up and beauty lines to one of the trendiest high street stockists with Fenty and many many more brands. I don't know what's going on there, but I am certainly not complaining :)

The Forlled range actually isn't multi molecular wt HA. Their entire MO is about the supposed uber effectiveness of dermal penetration super super low weight HA - I think 5kd if I'm not mistaken. So this is the only wt they believe in, and use in all products with HA. I'm not sure I like a product using only 5kd...there is a fair bit of research detailing inflammatory responses in the dermis with super LMWHA. This is why most products use multi wts...there's a push pull/ mitigation action between all the wts to protect the skin. Basically the premise that Brandon from Deciem based his HA formulation on. I wish you could get some cosmetic scientists on to debate this topic.

Having to ASK for prices and then having to think of an excuse why I can’t buy right now (because it is unaffordable makes me feel so uncomfortable and embarrassed quite frankly) is horrible. ALL of the clinics I go to do this. WHY?! Just give me a damn price list!

Advertised by several youtubers/influencers as the greatest thing to ever happen to blemishes. Obviously nothings a guarantee, one size does not fit all, but wondered if you had any thoughts? @@suzannesmith8993 Yes. You can use a hydrating toner after it to balance the ph before using peptide serums etc, but leave it on for a few minutes to work first. You don't have to use anything else (apart from a moisturiser/sunscreen) afterwards, but you can if you want to. I wouldn't use a retinoid at the same time of day, due to both ingredients having the potential to irritate the skin. You can alternate nights or use the SA in the morning - whichever. Make sure you use an spf when using any AHA or BHA, as it can make the skin more prone to sun damage, due to the exfoliating effect. Hope that helps.
