He's got 4 million subs. If you don't want him to use any of his increasing budget to improve his content that's just your fetish. Your opinion is annoying to me because there are people who understand that the exposure he gets comes at the expense of other car channels which would actually put their revenue back into their content instead of producing low budget content with a "unique rhythm that works really well". I shouldn't be concerned about your opinions and taste but when you're discouraging the most successful automotive channel from improving then I don't think it's hard to understand why I have a problem with that, considering the fact that a lot of people with 1% of his subs put more effort and budget into their videos.

To make content creators able to produce the same low budget content they produced at 1000 subs while pocketing all the additional money. It's just great.
You get me? I haven't met a single person in my life who could argue about this, but I've seen millions who are fine with it because they don't understand the bigger picture.

You need to use ur audience while you have them loyaly watching and bring them a service or product before ur candle burns out.
More less, you cant just keep fully investing ur money in and getting little out, eventually ur will be putting more in than u get. Eventually u will then put more in to try to get more back, n lose the little u were making along the way.

Great discussion! Doug’s Olds Silhouette video brought back so many memories, as my parents bought one new, in 1990, when they were first launched. I remember Josh Saviano (he played Paul, Kevin’s friend in The Wonder Years) was in a commercial for that car when it was first launched.

Doug the type of guy to bring two king size candy bars to a podcast.

Very funny to listen to Doug talking about Countachs and Carrera GTs like he would never be able to obtain them

I really wish Doug would come to Europe and try out all the quirky French and Italian cars he seems to have so much fun reviewing

I wish, I think he would love French cars and some Italian quirks and I would love to see more about cars from Poland and others that build something during ZSRR era. I bet he wouldnt like them but he would laugh whole video if you would give him first Polonez from around 1979 and Polonez Caro Plus from 2002 side by side.
