Pariah are the best dog i have ever encountered with. They are very loyal to your family. They are like all in one dog. They can be used for protection, guarding, herding, rescuing, retrieving, pet etc etc...which others don't do. Others have generally a specific character but pariah have all. And also they don't get sick or have any disfunctional issue like bone disease, cancer, heart disease etc which specific breeds do like gsd, lab, golden retriever, pitbull do. So go for pariah without any hesitation, its from my experience.
The reason they have strong immunity is they evolve over time as living in street, street life just like homeless life is harder to thrive to survive, which makes them stronger and alert, consider they don't get Chance to mate often and getting food easily like those pet guys they evolved just like that, they look ordinary no special furr or face features but they are extremely sensitive dogs
Glad to see people appreciating them. They have such a hard time in their native land. I am thinking of adopting one too as my first puppy (from the streets). They need love and can give it back.
Love from India. These are amazing dogs. Tough and healthy. Very active, alert and can also be trained to guard as the are naturally territorial. God bless you.
Thats amazing Brad & definately inspiring for others... There are so many dogs on street equally as gud & friendly as any other breed but people normally go for species which are showcased in moveis which creats a baised environment.
We have a pariah doc related to yours in America called, the Carolina Dog. I just rescued a pup a few months ago. Normally they’re typically colored like the Australian Dingo, but can be other colors like the Indian pariah dogs. Mine is piebald w/ blue eyes. She’s small but amazing!
its a highly intelligent breed and resistant to most diseases . These dog can not just survive extreme conditions but can flourish. Very rough and tough breed which doesn't need much grooming, also it doesn't have genetic issues like other breeds, they don't get obese and don't need frequent visits to vets. Its a very adaptive dog, if you keep it outside it will become a hunting dog naturally or shephard dog with some training. If you keep it indoors it will be more like a family dog. I kept one on home food for over 16 years.
In India we call this default dog. You get one for free, it lives outside your home, survives on leftovers, 4-5 of them protect the entire block from thieves.
OMG that is TOO CUTE! ;) I'm also getting a dog from India very soon. He hasnt been shipped to the US yet but the process is underway. Hes on youtube already (look for Rex, spinning) hes in New Delhi.
pariah..!! how cute till now I dono dat dey have a breed name coz ppl in india always call dem street dogs watever the breed is but dog s a dog wonderful living being
Thankyou sir for giving him such life in India very very less people adopt desi breeds bec we are so greedy that we run after big breeds, thankyou is he fine today he must be old😢
A small suggestion............... There should be a group....... of indian street dog owners through which street dog owners can share there experience and help one another in different problems of pet dogs or puppies It will stand more helpful..
Please guys help us to Let these dogs have a lovely Home, There are so many Indie dogs here in india Dieing everyday in Roads Due to No proper shelter and Food. We try our best to help them. But our society never acknowledge them,They see these local Puppies and dogs as Burden and Useless. I hope They can Change their mindsets.
Now-a-days local desi dogs are most expensive so adopt them in free because we didn't get available in the streets the desi local dogs which we can't see in the streets available its unavailable so adopt them in free
On one hand there are people who by their act personifies kindness and then there is this@souptikgupta absolute thoughtless individual with his asinine comments only to show how in-compassionate, racist and conservative mindset he holds. Hope your parents feel proud of you!
Desi dog is best for adaptable, my indie baby eat everything i eat mostly boil curry ,hardly I prepare their food except packet company treats sometimes, hardly visit vet , they have unimaginable strong immunity, since childhood I only have indie , at present I have two age 10 (no health issue )n 2 .my neighbor have breeded dog always visit vet n on strictly diet (company food )no homemaker food ,special dog shampoo, elergy to food , environment etc.😢.my baby is free from all this ❤

They're very smart. Knew I was family even though it never seen my in my partners India house. Walks around with me every where without a lese..
Unfortunately in india, everyone avoids pariah dogs they're crazy about having labs, German shepherd, pitbull etc. But now I've made up my mind.
And pariah breds are the oldest bred
Yes n they can eat everything without any problem . indie dog love to eat homemake food not company manufacture food ,their mantainance is very low 💰

Hi I am Raj from Michigan, planning to get or buy Rajapalaym dogs from South India, any help is appreciated.
can indian breeds withstand cold weather
please someone do suggest.
Can anyone tell me how I can bring an adopted street dog from India to the US? Is there a specific process? I would love to raise and help these dogs
Go to ophrescue.org! We save dogs from India, get them out of shelters, save them for hoarding homes, etc
how much time did it take for quarantine???
May I know how was the dog now?
She's still healthy and happy living at the same home with the same family :)
