I've read a few reviews that think that the story is about chuck murdering the girl, and i thought this to for a long time because i never listened closely to the lyrics and i suspect others didn't either. Good luck chuck is a story about the girl killing chuck in self defense after he unsuccessfully attempts to kill her. if you think about it, it makes more sense that way anyway even without the ending lyrics most people gloss over because kill bill wouldn't have known all the details of the story if she had died. dunno if you're still hearting comments or pinning Bill/Boar/Jinzo, but i would appreciate it if you did that if you read this so anyone who looks at the comments understands the song better

I think the line, "Kill myself? Y'all'd be borderline bastards" off of FVCK is one of my favorite lines on the album tbh. It seemed like a throwaway bar when I first heard it but it is so good imo. Saying that he hasn't come up or married the game or really otherwise been recognized on a large scale yet, but he knows that when this shit drops the same people that are hating on him on him will be imitating his style or kinda are like his stylistic children. I just love that he just runs straight through such a good bar and doesn't even acknowledge it like that type of writing is just second nature to him.

Nah man, I had a phase like that back in the summer of 2019. I probably listened to Ramona, Vestiges, and New Moon over 50 times each. I seriously have never heard any subgenre of rap (or of any type of music) that speaks to me the same way both Bill and Rav’s does on so many levels. Not to mention when they come together on a track or album it has a whole new and great feel.

this album is honestly up there with madvillainy for me, its a masterclass of underground hip hop and i’d honestly love a “deluxe” edition of it, or a sequel album of some sort, because a backwoods 2? hell, ramona 2? it’ll all be as good as this, maybe even better

Wow. I listened to this on and off. Sometimes just repeating certain songs that were initially catchier. But I just finished the album in one sitting and I'm genuinely impressed.
I associate this album and Beneath the toxic jungle with a certain time in my life. I'm very nostalgic for it now. Can remember every song transition for both.

Honestly always thought this album was way more well known than it apparently is. Goes to show the quality of it. Utter shame it’s not talked about nearly as much as it needs to be, it’s excellent.
