Love this park. Used to live on the east hill of Queen Anne, looked down on Lake Union & the park. Great place to fly kites, take a nap, watch the fireworks, etc. The fireworks over Lake Union almost destroyed the park. Too many people. Get fish 'n chips down the road, go back to Gas Works, sit on the hill and feast. Be there on Tuesdays when the sailboats race for the rubber duck. Where else would you find that! :>) I'm still here. A loyal Oregonian, but here I am.
