I would like to get it notified with the BEEP when the user is chatting. I have set the audio source to desktop. This beep is heard in desktop audio as well. Is it a way if only I can hear the beep without it interrupting into the desktop audio?

Just one question : I recently switched from Google Chrome to Opera GX. Does it exist an extension for Opera GX ?
I believe there are firefox instructions in the read me so its pretty likely it will.

I have been looking for a better option for my YT Streams for chat instead of copying the URL from YT Studio to my chat browser item in OBS. I like this new options. I have installed SSN but chat doesn't seem to work. Do I have to pop-out chat from YT Studio to have chat work in OBS?
On another note, I can't seem to get Alerts to happen when someone subs to my channel using Stream Elements. The actual subs don't even show up on Stream Elements Dashboard. I only use Stream Elements for my Overlays. Any ideas that could fix that when someone subs it shows up on my alerts in my YT Stream?

You do have to pop out the chat. Also you should log out of stream elements and log back in and reconnect it to your account. It may have somehow got disconnected.
The reason the subs don't show up is because by default, UA-cam account's subscriptions are set to private. This means you will only be notified when you gain a subscriber who also has their subscriptions set to public.
I know it's unfortunate but that's just how it is.
And yes. As far as I have found through my extensive searching, there is no way to get the UA-cam stream's chat link without clicking on pop-out window. At least for self-hosted programs/extensions such as Social Stream Ninja
I use StreamLabs when I'm not playing in Virtual Reality, but it lags often for the youtube chat. It supports multi-streaming however so I can stream to twitch and youtube and both chats get merged into my single chat with their respective platform icons showing.
When in Virtual Reality I highly recommend the LIV app. It supports Twitch and UA-cam chat on my wrist in VR! It NEVER lags and is always responsive for both platform's messages. Only for VR though..
how do you make the fonts and letter smaller???
i dont get what you did when you popped out the chat from youtube because i stream on Twitch and Kick , is there a way you could explain how that would work
in the readme file that you get the download for the extension there are instructions for each specific platform.
How do you link your video channels to the custom chat extension?

I am using it and it works, but what I don't like is that I don't see if a user replies to a different user, and I also keep seeing messages in the program that got deleted. Are there fixes for that?
When adding as dock chat in OBS it just pops up a window but chat doesn't work, link is correct, uninstalled many times and did all to no avail
Hi Michael, i have problem for over a month that Arabic chat text comes with no spacing between each word after some newer updates
SOLVED! I actually communicated with Steve on Discord & he is super cool & fixed the issue & now it works absolutely fine
Not sure what I did lol. I did step by step but, no chat comes through when I test the chat in the popped out chat from UA-cam.
Copied the link once the tab opens and it worked. I was doing the link from the drop down menus lol
Tried this, followed along and doesn't work or at least not on Facebook. Any idea why? any help would be appreciated, thanks

The beauty of it, is that if you popout youtube chat and a facebook stream, it will actually unify the chats into one feed

what do u mean? this is for a live stream so u would reply back verbally live. unless i am misunderstanding your question
man i wish this could be use for combined chats i use restream over ninja chat i got tired off my chat saying how am i talking too . do a update where both our chats can talk together witch is why i like restream

I had been using Social Stream Ninja for a while with OBS but now I get "Social Stream Ninja started debugging this browser" on Chrome and it won't connect my chat. Any idea on how to fix this?
Remove the browser extension and download the update and install it.

When popping out the chat, it gives an error i.e. Live chat isnt available.
It is when you do the private stream test. In public stream it should work well
it doesnt work, error manifest, i used it on 2 different browsers
It's too laggy and UA-cam pop out ends up timing out after so long

Try adding the extension in edge too. And copy the URL in dock

Where do you add your platform information at? I've attempted to open the Read Me and it won't open. Instructions on his UA-cam video are flawed and incoherent in its description. At this point, I'm calling this TRASH! Thumbs down for this suggestion! 👎
