Copart sells all kinds of cars. The fiesta wasn’t a crash damaged car so has a clean history. It just had a hard life! 🤣 Still it can be really risky but I like the challenge. Thanks for watching.
I’ve owned 2 E46 M3s. Absolutely loved them both. Keep watching mate. I’ve got plans to do some good reviews and challenges in the future. Thanks for watching.
I ended up doing a drop coat on it because I wasn’t happy with the colour match between the door and wing. Should have just painted the whole side right from the start. It would have saved me a load of time. It’s all a learning curve though.
I see, but what I meant was, why take the door skin off the door? Is it not welded seam sealed together etc, then you have to do all that in reverse after you've painted it?
@@MaxS9000 no mate the door skins on Golf’s just bolt on. It’s quite a good idea. The rear door skin was bent so I got a new one from a breaker’s yard but it then made the drivers door look faded so I took it off and painted it. It takes less than 5 minutes to take off any of the door skins. Forward thinking from Volkswagen.
What a transformation mate. Job well done 👍🏼
Cheers mate. It turned out surprisingly well in the end. Lot of work though.

Seems like a good idea but you'll need to learn as you go and a mountain of patience. Goodluck
🤣 This golf has certainly tested my patience. I’ve enjoyed seeing it come together though. Thanks.
Can get my friend to let you do his BMW E46 for your show if your interested.

What was going on with the drivers door skin off the car?
