I have it between two foam pieces. Settings are on auto. This method only works if the exhaust isn't too quiet, the 1150 is just on the edge...

Thanks for the tips! I do not have a microphone, but I do have an 1150 and a GoPro, and I would like to start making these types of videos, too, of the beautiful landscapes here in Canada.

But you have a smartphone I guess? Just start with that for the sound recording. I've done that too sometimes.
