If you love feel good songs please try "Listen to the music", "Can't stop the feeling" and "Friends in low places". There are sooo much more as "Working for a living" and especially "9 to 5 Live + bearboxing breakdown (in this all 5 are beatboxing)"
A couple thousand people singing sea shanties along with an acapella group...How fantastic is that?!! I wish they would give us more professional live concert videos. But, I will be happy watching the audience cell phone videos as long as it is of these guys. Thanks for the Home Free reactions.
You should also hear their collaboration with Peter Hollens with “Amazing Grace” and “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” with many of their Patrons singing along which was done during lock-down. People recorded at home and sent them in to Peter. What an amazing creation!

So much fun. They’re so good live. I’ve heard them twice in concert. One thing is Tim’s voice (bass) goes through you. He’s broken speakers before and it rattles you. I love their concerts. No other concerts have even been close...maybe Jimmy Buffet, but all the others haven't been nearly as good as these guys. Also want to say, their concerts a FAMILY FRIENDLY, kids are welcomed & they'll enjoy it for sure. Last time i saw them was April 2023 and i drove 2 1/2 hours from my home in Miami to their concert in Ft Meyers and it was worth EVERY MINUTE. They are truly a blessing.
You should also watch the first sea Shanty medley. It was during covid and they each recorded their parts separately They dressed as pirates for their parts. It was the one that went viral and caused Ubisoft to contact them about making Skull and Bones
Home Free is addictive, and is a habit that's good for your health! The energy flowing from that huge (!) audience is overwhelming, and is returned by Home Free in kind. I've never managed to get to an HF concert, but binging on this habit is the next best thing. Did you notice Adam Rupp's castanets? He's a master of percussion, that's for certain. A great way to start your day -- keep that big smile going.

This video was professionally filmed at a live concert - it's amazing how their harmonies, singing & beatboxing in live videos is often better than the studio videos! Great reaction! I think you'd love the live video "Timeless with special dancer" - it's a feel good video after a hard day!

Most Home Fries will suggest you resist reacting to Mayday until you are very familiar with their singing roles and names. So hold off a bit on that one. I can highly recommend Voiceplay as well. Even your daughter would like them. They are a very family-friendly group. They sing everything from Disney tunes to game music to show tunes to popular rock songs.
Actually, they're not pirate songs. For example, the first shanty mentioned processing whales that they have killed. Sea shantys were songs that sailors used to create rhythm when more than one person is required to handle rigging on the ships or other chores.
@SaeedReacts. Don't feel bad for not knowing. Apparently, there are quite a few who don't. 😉 If you think about the crew of a sailing vessel, it makes sense that it would be all male voices and a capella. (Well, sometimes a simple drumbeat like Adam provides here). The rhythm/cadence of the songs was purposeful in order to keep time as the men did repetitive tasks that had to be done together (hauling sails, rowing oars, pulling ropes, etc). Then there are some shanties that were obviously sung in their downtime - usually drinking/bar songs or songs about home, the sea, women, etc. 😉 I've always liked sea shanties, but really don't know why. Lol I didn't grow up anywhere near the sea, nor do I really care for the ocean (it scares me!). 😳 We did sing a few of them in music class when I was in elementary school. I have to laugh thinking about it now - a bunch of young schoolchildren singing about a drunken sailor!! 🤪😂

We tend to think of things by genres, and for a long time, the only sailing/seafaring genres popular entertainment has had have been either pirates or military (with the occasional odd example of lost-at-sea or lone sailor or other outlier). So when people hear 'sailing songs', it is natural to think of the genre they know with sailing ships - pirates - rather than the whaling, merchant sailing, and other non-pirate legitimate activities that used to be common.
The fact that ALL generations are together having a good time lifts my heart. On one live video Tim says they dont do concerts, they do parties!!! Looks like it! Nana Karen UK
Home Free is so good live. So steady and pure. I'm so glad I finally got to see them live on September 27th. The first time but certainly not the last. I also posted a video on YT of my recording of the Sea Shanty Medley (and other songs). Of course not that nice, but you can still hear how good they are. When Tim does the bass you can just feel your chair shaking.
Home Free is totally awesome! Sooo many great songs to listen to! This was a great professional video that was done at one of their concerts, I would love to see them do some more of these! Many we get are from fan’s cell phones that are from concerts, they are great to see, but not always best video quality. This one is fun and awesome!!❤❤ I have been to one concert! They are amazing! I have also been to what was called a backyard bash, that Tim had done. Austin was there, along with some other performers Jeffrey East, Chris Chatham along with a few others who have collaborated with Home Free., but not the band. This is something that Tim started doing. It was really fun and allot less people and I actually got to stand in a line and quickly say hello to them..😊😊 Loving your reactions!!❤❤

Nothing shows the wonderful talents os each member of the band like this - and it's live! I believe they may be intending to release other songs in live performance. BTW these are not "pirate songs", but work songs, or sea shanties. Pirates did not and do not sing - they depend on surprise to attack larger ships, and singing at the tops of their voices would make them pretty obvious! Shanties are to help sailors in old ships keep time in tasks like hauling on ropes to raise and adjust sails, as well as to amuse themselves on long voyages. Adam Chance was born on the coast and loves anything to do with the sea, so he loves these songs and persuaded the band to perform his collection.

Home Free has been the first concert for each of my little ones - they know all the songs, probably better than I do! We did a backstage meet and greet once and my 8yr old had a dozen questions to ask. It's her claim to fame - 'I ask great questions - Austin said so!'

Adam's castanets on the last segments always get to me (they're much more noticeable in the official/studio version so you should listen to that one, too - and they're in costume!) And yes, leaving their live concert you are on a high!

I’ve seen them twice in concert and after the last one my husband said “You were smiling the whole entire time” literally my face hurt! They are such a good time! So funny and just the pure talent is so hard not to smile at!
I was there that night. Absolutely fabulous. And we got to hear it twice to ensure that they got enough good camera footage. They are magical live. If you ever get the chance to see them, do it.

Adam's castanets on the last segments always get to me (they're much more noticeable in the official/studio version so you should listen to that one, too - and they're in costume!) And yes, leaving their live concert you are on a high!

I’ve seen them twice in concert and after the last one my husband said “You were smiling the whole entire time” literally my face hurt! They are such a good time! So funny and just the pure talent is so hard not to smile at!

Ze plannen opnieuw een Europese tour in 2025, dus dat is je kans. Kleine tip: neem Ultimate VIP Tickets, dan heb je meet&greet, foto moment en Q&A én plaatsen op de 1e rij ;-) heb ik gedaan in Utrecht en het was het dubbel en dik waard! Er zijn heel wat Home Fries in België dusvan harte welkom!
