now i never played in the nhl, but as a former goalie myself i have to agree, Sayman is a grear YOUNG goalie. he does not have the level of experience of either a Shesterkin or a Hellebuyck. he hasn't had to start 50 games in a season at that level, so is he reliable has not been answered yet. i think it was a bad idea to break up that pair until Sayman actually had a full season of being number 1under his belt and preferably 2 seasons.
Unless we’re somehow going to get sway signed for under 6 we’re really going to be limited with the money we have anyways, if we get him at 5 which would be lucky as fk lol, we would have 3.6 million in cap maybe Sweeney can go after a laine, get CBJ to retain but other than that we’re gonna be stuck taking a flyer on a FA that’s left
Sweeney will spend every dime he has plus more then whine at the trade deadline he has no cap space. Then he will trade away every draft pick to get bounced in the second round again
If Yamamoto wasn’t a first round pick, he wouldn’t get a second thought.
I’d prefer, zadina, or nylander to Boston, or even sprong, pending what he wants for money, could turn zadina into zacha 2.0
