I believe the ceremony is guiding deceased beside the Ganges to the afterlife. It is the place of death and birth where you attain salvation. Sacred place, Davud.
@Sanela With due respects, it is not what you mention it to be! What is in process is the worship of the River Ganga (or, Ganges) and Lord Shiva. It is done every night on the banks at the Ghats. What you mention about ceremony guiding the deceased souls to afterlife is altogether a different ritual which is called Shraddha Karma and is done on the 3rd or 13th day of one's death. It is a much private affair conducted within one's friends and family. All the same, nice to know and glad that you keep abreast of our religion, Hinduism or the Sanatana Dharma which is more than 5000 years old 🙏

Indian hindu (Sanatana) culture is the longest living culture of the entire human civilisation, the "mantra/sloka" which one chanted by the man who gave you "Tilak" in your forehead was written maybe 5000 years back from today, approximate 3000 BCE... 3000 years before Jesus was born or 3600 years before Islam proposed by Muhammad
& Those mantras and chants mention stuff considering all living beings equally (not even just human being, as if humans are superior than other living beings or creator of god) Unlike abrahmic religions where everywhere only the particular religious sect./community is mentioned as if they are only humans & living beings on this earth who deserve gud acc. to their god they believe in, as if that God is discriminatory & racist towards other faith beings.
Rivers are revered in Hinduism as sacred, they are called mother's.As a mother serves or nurture's child selflessly without asking anything back ,so does the river. Any element of nature ,even earth on which we thrive is also revered as a mother. In Hinduism there is a lot of thanks giving in culture, This worship is one of the part of showing respect to mother river, for being there for ages in memorial and nurturing and giving life to all the living beings there.
He said let peace be on Space, Earth, Nature, Water, Deva of universe, Peace itself. When he was putting sandalwood on your forehead he said, when the time comes let the elements of your body dissolve in nature peacefully as a cucumber dissolves back to mother nature.
Unlike many others you despite being a Muslim show great respect towards others religion and immerse your self in the rich cultural experiences. Even when you knew someone was trying to charge you in the name or religious ceremony you silently stood there and paid them.. I think you did not wanted to disrespect them and the religious ritual. I have observed you alternating between the names Dawud and David depending on the people you come across. It is good but sometimes disclosing our true identity will earn us more love and respect. You missed to record the main Ganga Arti which is performed with Lamps.
Priest made tripund in your forehand & chanted powerful vedas mantra. I'm surprised you are muslim & giving respect to hinduism. Great bro we need muslim peoples like you
Sanatan dharma means Welfare of mankind of whole world . All the people are my brothers and sisters ❤️❤️🇮🇳. We Hindus think all the people leave peacefully, happy, healthy and prosperous.
You might have heard that people from Silicon Valley and Hollywood music stars come to this place to find mental peace & spiritual sanity. I've experienced this firsthand. Trust me. Whenever you think you are lost in this world and you have no direction, you need to visit this place. There is something magical. You'll find an invisible helping hand and an inner peace will enrich you from within. Love. ❤🙏

Mosques scare us .. who knows a temple/church structure pops up from beneath !! That's the history of my country ... Temples were crushed and mosques built above them !! Thank you but, No mosques plz ! 😊😊
@@sumedhasoman2956 read my comment again. The Hindus prayed at the Ganges, whereas I'm talking about Mecca and Medina and the only thing there is there to do is to pray and get out into the main city which is just to stay for the time between prayers. #BEAUTIFUL GANGA # BEAUTIFUL VARANASI
Respect to Davud. Please enjoy your adventure in India and be safe. God Bless you.
It's a blessing to be at this place during Evening rituals. You are very lucky to attend that ceremony.
Har Har Mahadev
Great bro we need muslim peoples like you
Views ka chakkar h Babu bhaiya!

How we wish !.. people of all faiths were equally welcomed at Mecca and Medina also 😊😊😊
😆🤣😂😆😆😆
Only radicals are allowed there
The only thing you can do in Mecca and Medina is pray and pray which non muslims don't know. It isn't a tourist attraction like Sheikh Zayed mosque in Dubai. Go to Sheikh zaid mosque if you want to visit islamic sites, since there has already been security breaches multiple times in Mecca itself.
@@doubletrouble8651 so did the Hindus prayed and prayed at the Ganges ... And Mr. Akhundzada did not understand them either but he was welcomed anyway !😊😊 Well about the mosques !
And the temple popping from below a mosque is just Right wing BS. You are selectively taking a few points from my comment and taking it to a different tangent, seen this with many Indians though.
I m hooked in your videos . Hinduism worship everything like water . stone ,air, soil. We believe God is Everywhere. We respect all people .
You don’t have to be Hindu to see God everywhere, it’s only logical.
I really appreciate your respect for the Hindu rituals 😇 loving you and your videos🎥
