Which type of decision-making (Emotional decision_making or rationl-decsion making) can be more difficult to embed in a robot (or artificial intelligence)? Why? Can someone please answer my question????
I would rather trust autonomous vehicles than humans...who now kill circa 40,000 Americans yearly...and nearly 1.3 million humans globally each year. Autonomous cars can't get here soon enough.
@@Bisingularity Whose safety does the autonomous vehicle prioritize? That of the passenger? Or that of a random pedestrian? It won't matter because nobody can be held accountable regardless of which one the car kills. That's without dealing with the car that drives you off a cliff, or into a lake because its algorithm told it that there was a road there.

When your GPS attempts to drive you over a cliff because it insists that there is a road in that location.
