Guy should be the most hardest character in this game to reach no death in Double hardest, his attack is weak, but his speed is good, there's not so many people can use Guy to reach no death, but My Chinese friend Stars over night can, he should us how to use Guy to reach no death. Especailly Guy's rebound is so awesome.
This game is hard as balls. The level of play presented here both truly impresses me, and frightens me.
Only now, after more than 20 years, I discovered that guy could rebound from the walls.

The most innovative aspect of this game is that you can recognize the enemies and their hit points.
And also how you can channel the power of Guy's guffs to do the fatality. Innovation.
I died so much back then...that "Continue" scene with guy tied up is forever in my memory
No he is just very good at the game. Just because you can't 1 credit clear any arcade beat em up doesn't mean no one else could. It is not easy but this video proves it can be done.
If you can not play a game good, just practice more, If my friend Tas, he really can make no damage. but during the game, there were so many time he almost die. also he've been played this game for 22 years. so do not say Obviously. If you don't trust, just ask him to play on Supercade. If he can playthrough like this, in the future you are not allowed to comment on the video I've uploaded

King of the kickboxers was based on this game. if you go watch the film it even has some of the sound Fx from this game.

I really don't think many people realize how incredibly tough it is to finish the game on 1 credit alone, and even fewer can reach the exclusive no death club. Great job here. I must disagree about Guys "rebound" kick being awesome. There are not many useful spots for it in the game and relying on the infinite combo is one effective measure of survival. El Gados/Hollywoods really work one over on Guy.
breaking sounds of wooden box and barrels are same in every Capcom beatup game.
If you count Final Fight and Street Fighter II as every Capcom beat 'em up then ok.

WOW!! Insane skillz and this is the most agressive fighting I've ever seen in Final Fight. Does 'off the wall kick' makes more damage than standard jumpkick? Great video.

nicely played. this is a hard game. it is made even harder by the fact that the computer will cheat and adjust slightly each time its played. i can complete this game with cody and guy with 1 credit and no loss of life.

Cody was walking away from Jessica but Guy, who was her friend too and probably the only other man who Could take Cody in a fight, decided to teach him some manners and basically say "Go to her you idiot, don't throw a good thing away for your love of fighting street trash". That was it, he was just being a good friend.
now if it said NO DAMAGE then.. well.. I'd definitely have those battle toad arcade boss time eyes.
That can be done with Cody and Guy because they have similar combos with light-light-mid-MID-hard punches. I've done that movement myself for years, just punch'em twice if it's Cody or three times if it's Guy, then turn to throw the MID punch and right after that turn again to re-start their combos.
I can't tell if it works with haggar because I don't choose him to play. I hate that slow guy since the time I picked him by mistake and lasted less than 3min in the actual arcade Final Fight.
Just punch twice and then try throw input, he demolishes
that move is called final destruction.

Yes and just like every other half with that uploads their play of this game, when it comes to level four, the industrial area, the fire can't touch them. And when it comes to level five the bay area, they skip past some of the enemies...
That's just cheating.
Fire can't hit him because he stands between the fires. Skipping enemies is a choice - not cheating. You can fight them or skip them like in thousands of other games.

In some FAQ I read that Guy is more proficient with sword and Haggar is more proficient with pipe, is it true or sword and pipe has not any differences?
There's no real differences in how the weapons are used by the characters. There may be some variation on how much life it takes off but it's the same basic swing/throw for all of them. A bit of a wasted opportunity, but it's one of the few flaws in an otherwise perfect game.

I tried to play FF on hardest in MAME instead of normal, but I didn't notice any changes in difficulty!?! Hows that?
Anyway, hardest or normal, my limit is last stage after the elevator. Until few days I didn't know that it is possible to finish game with one coin. Then I sow that video where some guy finished game without getting hit at all! Holly crap.
I new for that trick with avoiding finishing combo, but I never sow somebody finished that game without problem.

They come in the final stage where the palm trees are but just as regular enemies.

Press tab, then select "dip swiches". There are the difficult options and more
