This game never gets old...can’t believe it came out in 2003 still. My childhood spent sitting on the office computer playing simcity 4 all night. Appreciate all the memories man! Always a pleasure listening to your videos. I’m almost at 1500 subscribers ;)
Everybody not playing this game for _very_ long should watch this! I started playing and information on this is kinda scarce, plus NAM isn't very self-explanatory to me. You just stick with the things you know, and forget that you don't know everything. Then this video comes up and gives you a whole bunch of quick useful stuff! :D
I NEVER understood how these people put so much effort into creating literally life changing mods, with deep, deep features and all that and then after all this time and effort dont make proper tutorial videos. Like... why does a random youtube need to step up to do it.
Yep, started playing again end of last year and learned the LEX got nuked... Was hoping to check for updates and look for new stuff. NAM has changed since I last played. Decided to finally check out SPAM and IRM. Love the concept for IRM but doesn't have support for a lot of my industrial lots. Guess I need to relearn iLive and the other editors. Going to have to dat pack again...
This video could be manacing to new player, like: we have 1 whole hour of tutorial just for road alone? I would like to clarify that this 1 hour is actually to showcase how powerful is NAM and even SC4 itself is. This also showcase 10+ years of NAM continuous development and Haljackey experience in this game.
Oh my! In all the years of playing SimCity4 which were over a decade of play. I would get so frustrated because I wanted to curve a road like you could in "3000" (I couldn't get use to the NAM back then). What you show here early in the clip looks to operate something like CimCity3000. Very cool indeed. Makes me want to crack open one of my many copies of Rush Hour to see if they will load up on "10".
THANK YOU for these tutorials. I can do roads and streets fine but there's stuff I can't figure out. I lay a bunch of stuff and my sims start complaining they can't get out. lol. I ended up messing up so bad on the biggest city I ever had (only 21k but still...I just started playing haha) and I just decided to obliterate it because I couldn't fix it no matter what I did and I was out of money and taking too many loans to pay back for the population I was losing.
Fantastic tutorial! Please release a RHW one as well, full 1h+ if needed, if you haven't already! Edit: Okay I see it's the next vid on your channel :)
I am new to the NAM mod and am having a great time with it. A question about the turning lanes. (Specific example: 1 minute before end of video) Do they increase traffic flow in the game or is purely cosmetic? Thank you for providing this content it is very helpful!
Hey, can you explain, is there exist road blocks for addon roads? I have only standart road block for avenu from classic game, but nothing for addon roads.
The problem is easy to solve as the 4GB Patch is missing. Here are the procedures 1 Make sure your computer has RAM of 8GB or more. 2 If your computer has 8GB or more RAM then you can install FULL NAM. The FULL NAM controller requires the requirement to install the 4GB Patch. (If your computer has less than 8GB RAM, you need to install NAM Lite or NAM NO RHW ) 3 The 4GB Patch can be found in the folder where the NAM installation files are. Once you start the program you have to select SimCity4.exe which is present where you installed SC4 in the Apps folder. For more information you can check out this video ua-cam.com/video/ROtulkSF2m4/v-deo.html

This looks incredible. This is the game that gave me my love of Planning and now I am a Certified Planner doing this for a living.

OMG thank you. I'm a fairly experienced player and was not fully aware of some of this.
Great video even I learned a few things
Hui nice. A new Sim city video with commentary. It's been a while.

I miss that Sims/Sim City UI
Question from a very frustrated player-- the well textures don't happen in my roundabouts. What am I doing wrong?
Hey, can you explain, is there exist road blocks for addon roads? I have only standart road block for avenu from classic game, but nothing for addon roads.
how do you get trees on your curved avenues and Avenue/RHW Overpass puzzle piece?
A video about trains and other transpiration crossing RHW would be super helpful
How do you get the cul de sac in the roads? I've installed Nam but I dont get them
I have a question, how can you get the grass so green? Does it belong to some downloadable texture? Thanks and great video!
what about adding a right turn lane instead of a slip lane?
Avenue/RHW Overpass puzzle piece is missing for me
I’ve tried installing this mod several times without luck. The game opens fine but when I try to open a map it freezes and kicks me out
