Ok, that was easier than I expected, having owned a Scenic -07 where you need tripple jointed wrists and only three fingers on your hand to pull it off... 😅
Changing both took the same amonut of time as just removing the right (easier) bulb, on the Scenic. 😁 Good to see there is acutal progress made in head-light design at Renault.
@niklaswejedal463 the worst bulb change I have came across is Citroen c2, I couldn’t believe it, to do that you need to remove bumper, I had a fitter at Halfords moaning to me about how long it took him to do a mondeo bulb change until I showed him it was the quickest, sown on my mondeo bulb change video
@@RichManPoorMotors Oh dear...I was supposed to let the Renault service do it on the Scenic, since it was basically impossible to do without removing the front if you are a normal human being and not a octopus, but I am very stuborn and won't pay for things I theoretically can do by myself... With a lot of swearing, and arms filled with scars and bruises it can be done. I'm not surpirsed the C2 was equally horrible, since it was made at the same time with a head light design similar to my old Scenic (which still was awesome in every other way...)
I nearly bought a Audi that was £2000 below trade price a couple of yeas back, it had a small scrape in the bumper cover but was fine behind the cover no damage, but it also had a crack in both front headlights, when I checked on the replacement headlights price I was gobsmacked that they were £2500 plus var each, so £5000 to replace both, luckily I checked first
When I try, it doesn't that easy. I catch the back of the bulb holder and... nothing moves when I try to turn it. It's the opposite bulb compared to the tutorial. Any advice welcome 😅
Try pushing it in as you turn the bulb holder, this might help, they do take a bit of twisting make sure your turning it the correct way, Is it a mk1 zoe, as later might have a different bulb holder, it might have a clip or setting screws
I’m glad it helped, as I’ve been fixing cars, bulldozers and excavators with my father for over 45 years tend to forget how I started and to post the smaller jobs, it’s nice to hear that you found it helpful
It is a Q90 model I think, I haven’t fitted led to that but I have on other cars, they usually work ok but some cars show errors as it thinks bulb is out owing to low power use, it depends on the car and I’m not sure on the ZE50
Be very carefull to not drop the metal bulb holder (the metal part he doesn't desatach in the vid). Is a very rare one very very difficult to find, and the standard ones sold everywhere doesn't fit. Be aware of it. If anyone knows what exact reference this piece has or how to find it will be appreciated. Thx.
With so many engineers in the world, no one has yet thought of creating a practical system to change a light bulb in the car! Horrible system! Maybe Elton Musk will have to solve this too.
The headlights on my own car are now a sealed unit, at over a £1000 each i would love the ability to just swap a bulb for indicator or side light if it goes
Straight to the point. Thank you for a clear video.
I only watched until 1:11, but a good video, helped me a lot more than the manual.
Very helpful video, will watch again when the other headlight goes
Thank you for your comment
Thank you. This was easy compared to other cars. Ever tried to change a bulb on a Suzuki Splash haha😂
I’ve not done a Suzuki splash but I have done a Citroen c2 and you have to remove the bumper to do one of those, couldn’t believe it
thank you. my head lamp dead. i will follow your teaching. Thanks again
Hope it goes smoothly, let us know how you got on
Very helpful thank you!
Thank you for your comment

Is the model of this vehicle the ZE50 ? and have you every tried replacing it with a LED bulb ?

Good video. But never press on glas part of bulb .
Risk of distortion of light position.
