Thanks for posting this. I was just scrolling through the comments and I am surprised to find that SO MANY people use this as a cover to get some peace and quiet. Just like me :D :D I am in-between jobs right now and am waiting for my next big break. Though I am constantly working and studying to upgrade myself, people do not respect my privacy anymore. Unwanted outsiders and nosy individuals keep barging in all the time. I put this on laptop and speak loudly from time to time to seem like I am in a very big meeting. This is a lifesaver. It's so sad that we have to pretend to be busy, just to keep others from interfering in our business. This is what the world has come to, unfortunately :(
I am happy to report that I got my big break in August and have regular work meetings now :D I still use this sometimes when I don't actually have a meeting because I want people around me to mind their own business. :)

There was some genuine interest shown from residents and stakeholders in Waipa as this was filmed when we were in Alert Level 4 national lockdown.
My cleaners don't speak any english but they always want to talk to me when they come over. They're super nice people and all but it's super akward so with this clip I don't have to deal with it anymore. Thank you!

This is a life saver. I am (or was) a corporate tax accountant whose ENTIRE department was recently laid off unexpectedly and tasks handed off to the partner team over in Poland. Have not revealed to my daughters that I've been laid off. I was already working from home when it happened. My youngest girl comes home around 3:30pm so if she starts to see me in fewer and fewer meetings, it'll become too obvious. I needed this!

Thanks for posting this. I was just scrolling through the comments and I am surprised to find that SO MANY people use this as a cover to get some peace and quiet. Just like me :D :D I am in-between jobs right now and am waiting for my next big break. Though I am constantly working and studying to upgrade myself, people do not respect my privacy anymore. Unwanted outsiders and nosy individuals keep barging in all the time. I put this on laptop and speak loudly from time to time to seem like I am in a very big meeting. This is a lifesaver. It's so sad that we have to pretend to be busy, just to keep others from interfering in our business. This is what the world has come to, unfortunately :(
I am happy to report that I got my big break in August and have regular work meetings now :D I still use this sometimes when I don't actually have a meeting because I want people around me to mind their own business. :)

Ha!! I had a repair guy over and I didn't feel like making small talk while he was here. I met him at the door, politely told him I was in an important work meeting. His two words the whole visit was okay when I politely asked him not disturb me, and goodbye as he left!
