  • Wondering how to put together the perfect virtual event tech setup? Well, I just wrapped up hosting my first ever virtual event for paid coaching clients. And although I was very unsure as to how it was all going to work out, we prepped very hard for it, and I'm happy to report it was a resounding success!
    So, in this video, I share the behind the scenes of what it was like to run our Youpreneur Incubator mastermind in a virtual setting for the first time ever, showing you exactly what kit we used to make it happen... one piece at a time. Links to everything below:

    Love that 42" TV - I've been thinking about going that way - great to see how you're doing it.

    Thanks for sharing. I'm miles away from a set-up like yours but it is always great to learn and plan for the future.

      Glad it was helpful! Remember... No need to compare yourself with me, or anyone else. Do what works for YOU and what serves the people you are focused on helping right now. This might shift in the future, and if that's the case, how you'll handle things will shift, too :-)

    Thank you for sharing. I've been thinking about how to conduct my yearly women's leadership master class virtually and this information shows me that it is not only possible, it's doable. You rock!

      Happy to help. Remember, it’s the content you share that people will remember and appreciate more than anything else. But it does help to share it in a way that feels fresh and new and inspiring...

    This was very helpful, Chris! I have produced most of my Anchor Moment shows at the HSBN studio. I am looking into doing some events and interviews on Zoom during the pandemic and afterwards perhaps with people who live far away. Thank you for sharing your advice and set up! I just now subscribed to your channel to learn more!

      Fantastic! This is quickly becoming the 'new normal'. So, the better prepped we are, the better we can serve...

    Hi Chris, thanks for your wonderful video! I'm looking into creating a similar setup (already got the Podcaster Pro) but I'm trying to make a 2-camera setup - one for each of my hosts, who will be in the same room together and using Zoom to Spotlight them for the viewers. I'll probable need a tech guy to control camera angles and so on. How would you go about setting up something like this?
    Thanks!

      @chrisducker  3 роки тому

      I'd look into a switcher, like a Stream Deck device, that'll help you flip between one camera and the other. The rest is just down to angles, and cables..... lots of cables! LOL

    This was so helpful Chris! Do you use a headset for hearing the audience? If not, how to prevent feedback loops with your mic?

      Nope. Just through my iMac speakers.

    Wonderful insight, Chris, and a very interesting setup. I just don't understand why you're connected to the big screen with your Macbook Pro and not the iMac. Aren't you running the Zoom event from the iMac? BTW, the Rode gear is awesome, I agree. I began using a RodeCaster Pro a month ago, along with the new RodeMic (it's like a stumpy ProCaster - you'd love it), and the results are awesome. My two ProCasters serve as ornaments for now. I'll never get rid of the, though - I love tech products made out of metal! This ProCaster/RodeCaster Pro stuff would be hard to say after a few G&Ts.

      I am running from the iMac, yes. The reason why we connected a laptop to the TV screen is so that I could see exactly what the attendee see's. Haha. I hear you on the quality of the products... :-)
