I just now realized that Duloc was unpopulated in the original movie to save resources animating a city scene

@@laneatkinson6441 Yeah, well, look at the arena scene again, the crowd is basically a texture most of the time. Much easier to animate an audience and a puppet show than a city scene. That was the narrative reason, though, and it worked really well.
@@sladikk I'm glad they chose that route, if Shrek walked through a busy town square it'd be even more chaos than the fight scene itself. 😂

Green Monster did a phenomenal job playing his part as Shrek. Let's hope that the Shrek mask wasn't too uncomfortable for him.

Hey Ryan! Any update on Starship Genius? I've been itching to know what happens for a while now, just curious if you have a time frame.
The project is underway (the first 8 minutes of the soundtrack is done and the rest is sketched out) but this will be my most ambitious attempt thus far. I don't want another cliff hanger, so rather than put out the first 8 minutes, and then another episode, I am planning an extended length episode to wrap up the series.

This version is actually way better than the original movie😂 The animation of Shrek is actually terrifying, which is good cuz that gives emphasis on him being an ogre. Donkey in this one is less annoying. Overall, really good work^^

Initially, I was a bit disappointed that this was not a new RBG episode.
But this was delightful- the expressions, the character models (I wonder why they look so familiar...), the voice work, it’s some of your best yet. I’m a newer fan to the channel, and I’m lucky to have been able to witness the evolution of your animation over the years in a manner of days.
