Wonderful class! So informative! I had Pinot Noir at a wine tasting (I've only been to one). After the cherries and berries I tasted flowers like, old damask roses, clove pinks and those old British sweet peas, spicy flowers. The color was dark and burgundy but with hints of pink in a kind of corona at the surface of the wine. Is that normal in a Pino Noir?
