iRacing has a pretty good version of it. By the way you can also rent different types of Porsches (not race spec) directly at the Red Bull Ring. Its not very expensive.
Dude, people who have never been out on track have no idea how fucked some curbs are... some make your car feel like its vibratimg itself to bits, yet videos or simracimg does it no justice.
@@HaloDude557 depends on how gootentight your suspension is... thats the whole point of bushings... they kill your steering rack and tie rod ends, and lower control arm bushings but it depends on the suspension design. That is the craziest turn in the world. It's a fast, hard right with an elevation change; you get on the gas too early, and you spin. The track designer knew EXACTLY what they were doing... creating chaos.
some do because there are limited amount of spare parts. For example when you still have 4 races to go and only have 1 gearbox left, the engineer would tell the driver to be more gentle if possible
In sim, I struggle with countersteering in time. But when I kart, it's something that my arms naturally do when I feel the slide. I wonder if it's like that with race cars too.
I love all of your videos. Really keeping that momentum while dancing through the apex of each turn. Millions of tiny inputs choreographed like a symphony. As a life long Gran Turismo player with gold on every license test, I can definitely relate. I think it’s probably the same lol. Except, what happens if you crash? Where’s the restart button? 😂
I've only had my 911 on two tracks, and all I thought about the whole time was, be nice to the car, don't wreck the car. I love that little Porsche. Have fun all.
Its getting ridiculous at the Red Bull Ring. The track has no edge anymore. They should let them drive all the way next to the wall on approach of turn1. @dirkschoutenracing wheres the full video of the stint 😢 we want to see very long videos of this
@@razghost2 I have driven many laps on the RBR in different cars and bikes. I have watched the first comeback of F1 there in 97. I would all be for making the corner slower. It used to be easier to overtake because it used to be narrower, when the corner was tighter the braking zone was longer, it was as good for overtaking as T3 and T4. There was also grass to the left hand side so no margin for error. You could easily put a wheel wrong there and spin or lose all momentum. Very challenging. The slow exit also gave a chance to wheelspin which made it even harder to get it right and helped the car behind prepare for a move. Nowadays this has become an aero grip corner, it has become much wider on entry and exit, even if your not precise on entry and exit you can still make up for it because theres plenty of room to change the line. My point was, on entry to the left side first there was grass, few years later they widen the tarmac, few years later they add curbs, few years later they add astro turf, theres little hope they reverse the changes to how it was as there seems to never be enough space. Only if they widen the entry another couple meters to the barrier they would finally return to a proper track edge. Its not Red Bull Rings fault, its all FIA track regulations, I'm just legitimately ranting but let me say another thing this corner not only had more overtakings, more of a challenge, more drift action, but it also used to be alot safer when it was tighter and slower. Nowadays it has become normal to see cars spin out on exit at high speeds into the inside barrier, because this has become a medium speed aerogrip corner in a zone that was built to be a slow corner.

Old??
Compared to the other real GT3 cars, the 911 is SO different. The brake pedal has a whole foot of travel and requires my whole body weight on it
How young you gotta be to consider this an old car?

No that's cool
The track map shows Nurburgring, and he is on Red Bull ring

That would make no sense, all you would do is make the corner faster thus the braking zone shorter which would make it even harder to overtake.
