I just started a asmr channel and your video is the only video on youtube i found. Amazing job!! This helps a lot!! I subscribed to you! ❤ so i can connect the zoom h5 to my samsung and then connect two mics at the same time to the zoom so i can record binaural videos on my phone? I hope this works as wel. Many thanks
@@Belgiumbreeze Yes you can.You could connect through your Zoo H5 or go directly from the USB port on the Blue Yeti Pro to the USB port on your Android phone (assuming it supports USB OTG). You'll need a new USB cable with mini USB plug at one end (that goes into the Yeti) and a USB-C plug at the other end (goes into your phone. A third option is to take the headphone feed from the Yeti and feed that into your phone, but you'll need and adapter. I hope that helps. Good luck.
I've saved this for possible later use. One question, do you have to hold the Zoom H5 in front of you. Can you have the H5 outside of camera frame and still get the quality sound?
If you are using the Zoom H5 XY mics, the recorder will probably be in the shot since you want the mics to be no more than 12 inches from your mouth (ideally 6-8 inches). But if you are using the Zoom H5 as an audio interface only (because you have a lavalier mic plugged into it), the H5 can be out of the shot. I hope that helps.
I want to record multitrack. My Samsung A51 galaxy cam does not have an option for selecting an external microphone. Does anyone have a clue which app to use for that?
very helpful, thanks! picking up my H5 today: plan to record some guitar, piano, vocals, percussion using it as interface with smartphone. Woo!
Thanks for the comment and I hope you enjoy recording. Good luck.
You’re the man, just know that!
Thank you.
We have an older H4 i think, will try to record this weekend with an iPhone. Let's see how it goes. Thanks for this video!

thanks bro. this really helped me .
I'm glad the video helped.
This was really helpful.. Thank you so much. Any idea how to use this interface setup to record interviews over phone calls?
Thanks again.
You're welcome. If you want to record phone calls on the H5 I have a video about that. ua-cam.com/video/gEeTwrRCZPs/v-deo.html
Can you also show us how to use the Tascan???
I would if I had a TASCAM recorder. I already have two Zoom recorders so do not have plans to make the change to another brand, sorry.
Do you think I could do this with a H4n?
Yes you can.
