The "degloving" guy was honestly pretty cool about the whole thing. Wasn't even mad at the dog and was quite ready to show everyone his... injury.
The homeless guy is an absolute backbone!!🤣 seriously burns himself fire breathing, breaks his leg trying to extinguish himself, then just shuts up about it and spends the next 2 days sleeping outside on a cave with no food or water. BACKBONE!! This guy deserves a raise😂
Right!? What an absolute legend! We hope he was able to get all the help he needs 🙏
Deserves a raise??? Mate… the guy has no salary to begin with 😂
@@thijsakatissoeh haha yeah I was speaking figuratively

He definitely deserves better than what life gave him. It’s a very cruel world we live in.
That poor kid getting the sea urchin needles out😢looked sooo painful. He’s a trooper for sure!!!!
He was such a brave boy! So many kids would be screaming in his situation! 😩
Yep there like the worst embedded teddy bear cactus needles ever
Did he say his wife came???
@@SageOnPawss yep I was surprised
@@SageOnPawss A wave came and knocked him down. 😁
Just goes to show, don't judge a kid having a supposed melt down. Kids go through different physical and mental thoughts being injured. Some are like omg that's so cool, I can see my bone! And others feel the full force of pain and panic. I'm with the full force of pain and panic kid, but he still did so well!
Absolutely! He could have also been having an allergic reaction which would explain his intense pain 😢
@@RealLifeRescue
Everyone has different pain tolerances and to him it's the worst thing he's ever felt and hopefully ever will. I really felt bad for him and dad as well. Parents just want to protect their children from anything bad and when we can't it's gut wrenching. I'm glad everything turned out well for both of them. God bless.
It’s definitely hard to watch a kid having a painful meltdown. It’s not something you can just get out from
That must’ve been so painful..
That little boy with the jellyfish accident broke my heart. I’ve been stung once before and I haven’t gone inside the beach with the water above my knees ever again. Went a whole year with the tentacles mark on my leg and the form of the jellyfish behind my thigh. People would ask me what that was and they would be amazed by my answer. It’s the worst feeling ever, but I was thankful it stung me and not my little brother.
That jellyfish sting sounds brutal! It's crazy how such a small creature can cause so much pain. Your story reminds us all to be extra careful in the water! Thanks for sharing, and here's to hoping for sting-free beach days ahead! 🏖️
Oh my gosh! I’m so sorry that happend to you! I hope you’ll get in the water again soon😭❤️
Oh my gosh I have never been stung my sister has and you are so nice you made sure it didn’t sting your little brother
How old were you when it happened?
A bluebottle or another type of jelly ? I was stung when I was younger (probably a Box Jelly) and I remember the lifeguard ❤ treating me with vinegar on the beach.
*When your child is looking desperately at you, in serious pain, screaming for you to help them, it kills you deep inside when you have to let the ones who know, take that helping position. You just want to take their pain for yourself, just to do what a parent is supposed to be able to do.*
Oh absolutely! It must be so hard to watch your own kids in pain knowing you can't do anything to help 😢
@@RealLifeRescue That's why moms break down and lose it...the guilt, the fear, the willing their child safe, their child's hopes and dreams, are all carried in a loving mom/mum.
We can't accept that we ourselves can't do anything more at that moment, and when we just watch others doing the saving, we just want to jump in and DO SOMETHING, yet we know we are not the experts at that time, and their best chance is with experts.
Or worse, when we see our child on direct path to 'oh shit' and can't do anything ourselves, to help. We cry because that's all we CAN do and all our love for our child is contained in those tears falling hard and fast. We ARE in the midst of losing ourselves, because our children are forever part of us.
@@TheJudiBambiPurrsParadox My mother was always the strong and calm type whenever my sister and I got hurt. We didn't learn until well into our adulthoods that after we were okay she would breakdown hard. I never once saw her panic or cry, but she and my dad assured us she did in private afterwards. I'm not a mother so I can't imagine what strength of will she has that she could hold off those feelings as long as she did, given some of our injuries over the years! Moms of either type, crying outright and worried, or strong and worried, are warriors in my opinion!
That gun shot victim is a brave guy to still be able to show the photo of the wound on his phone that takes true guts I feel so sorry for this guy
takes true guts.. heh i see what you did there.
@@MultiChrisjb under rated comment, made me laugh 🤣
I got shot for litterly not saying sorry or idk what to guy while being upset that a good friend of mine had 20 bucks disappear in his car while we were trying to enjoy his daughters 5th bday and i had walked away and sat on steps and im so deff. When the dude passed me on steps he turnwd around and said " i said excuse you" while obvoously havimg plenty of spacr to walk up a 4 or 5 foot wide steps im not in middle either. I turnwd around zaid " good for u in heavy accent being upset" he pulled a gun out with a fuxming 36 round stick on it idl whrte tf it was but i didnt even flinch simple said cool everyone in stl has one and he said i dare u to grab yours. And then decided fuck it and shot me with a 45acp from less then 15 ft away luckily my shin stayed intact my fibiya exploded from force going down my shin and thay saved my life as i had dove and rolled and got up on my feet with my gun drawn and put the whole mag of 9mm hollow in him reloaded . Started doing first aid to myself while calling 911 and driving myself with right leg on dash and left foot down to slow the blood lose i couldnt make it tight enough and had 2 blood transufusions. People are fiucled up man. And im the most generious nice friendly bigfoot youll ever meet at 6"8i try to restore faith in humanity not destroy it. 😔
I think his gut is gone
Okay I’ll be that guy. He had surgery a few days ago showed a picture that had to be blurred because it was graphic and said “ that was yesterday” why the hell is this guy at the beach like a dumb ass and not at home recovering properly like are smart reasonable human.
That poor homeless dude. He would've been in so much pain and discomfort for days and still felt like he had to deal with it on his own. Says a lot about how he's been treated before. I just hope he got the help he needed to get off the street.
We hope so too! He seems so sweet 🥺
Aside from the high pain tolerance, I'm amazed how he can just casually show his pipi to everyone....and the boys just 😮 😅 hahahah Are men really this casual?
Hahhaa We can't speak for all men but we can say for sure this man was very confident 😂
@@RealLifeRescueI'll say there are far more men not like him than like him
Meh, I know here in America someone would make a big deal out of it for nothing.
Who cares, we all have one, we all know what they look like, it’s not like we can control how big they are, who cares.
I’ve been to a few nude beaches in Europe and it’s quite calming.
Most men dont make a big deal about it.
In good company they are really casual, it can be like family
That poor kid is likely traumatised of Australia (or at least the sea) now. What an absolutely awful way to start off your holiday.
No he actually said he would only go in the pool now he has no fear of Australia just the ocean with all the dangerous things in it
@@kristilicea1472 completely understandable in my opinion
8:37 The lifeguards taking so much time to pull the thorns out were so sweet
The 2nd guy when beardie says he looks horrible for a lifeguard with such experience says that that will send shivers down your spine that’s an immediate ambulance case
Jesus Christ put some commas and reword the sentence it's like I'm reading something an 8 year old would write.
@@Squashylemon took me 3 reads to figure out what was going on😭
@@lando5281 me too ngl
@@lando5281I read it 3 times and I just gave up
For a lifeguard with lots of experience to say "that looks horrible" in the 2nd video, you know that its really bad, and that its an immediate ambulance call.
I can’t even begin to imagine the pain the dad of the kid that got stung is feeling. Hearing your kid screaming in pain, knowing you can’t do anything to help, because you don’t know how to handle the situation, that’s gotta be mentally painful.
Agreed! It must've been so hard for the dad to watch 🥺
I can't imagine how it feels to be a parent and just have to watch your kid in pain, not being able to do anything, even as someone who is quite the protective friend who hates seeing people hurt, when one of my friends is in pain it breaks my heart to not be able to help, like one time me and my friend went skating and she fell and landed on her arm, her arm went behind her back and i think she dislocated her shoulder or something like that, and all i could do was try to comfort her while she cried and the people working there helped her waiting for the doctors, or, whoever came, this was a long time ago so i don't remember well, but it was horrible. Huge respect to those parents and all of yall too, because you also have to deal with all those people in pain and you do such a good job handling it.
I think also with the last boy he had worked himself up to a point of almost no return, he had just got off a long flight and had an even longer journey behind him and then he goes almost straight to a crowded beach where everything is new and then that happens, poor little kid
I feel so bad for the kid with the blue bottle stings. If someone says he’s overreacting they’re wrong, he’s not. That hurts really bad and that dad wasn’t overreacting either, it shows how much he cares about his son for being so scared for him.
I feel for that Dad! Can't be easy seeing your child scream in pain :( Glad that pain relief worked! They're a pretty good bunch of lifeguards!
These Australians are crazy I’d be crying for every one of these
14:55 that dogs, Hella, happy, his lips sticks out lol kind of ironic
That kid at the end was adorable - thumbs up, lifeguards!
He was such a good kid! We're so glad the lifeguards could help! 🙏
@@RealLifeRescue good job guys
we love the service the life guards provide for us
In the UK, we have a fish with a sting in the top called a Weaver Fish. The only way to get the poison out if you stand on one is to put it in as hot water as possible. It is horrible and happened to me when I was about that boy's age. The pain was unbearable then they try and put your feet in such hot water it hurts. Not fun
Ahh the sea life can be scary! Guess the cure to a Weever fish is similar to a Bluebottle! Good to know 📝
@@RealLifeRescueI'll take swimming through another bluebottlw swarm over whatever red jellyfish of doom I touched last time I was in Australia. 3 days in the hospital, and I have an exceptionally high pain tolerance to begin with.
@@RealLifeRescue weaver fish bury themself just beneath the surface of the sand and if you step on them.. you know immediately..
@@Kitsune1989 Sounds like it may have been an Irukandji. That's supposed to be some of the worst pain in the entire world!
I laughed when the life guard called the kid “It” at the end
Omg poor Phil!!! He looks in so much pain 😢 I hope he is better now. Must’ve been so scary being SHOT right in the stomach, not even on purpose 😭
If you try to pull a fishing hook out the way it came, the barbs get stuck against your skin and rip more out. Doctors will numb the area, cut the end off the hook and push it all the way through out the other side.
you actually push it through first, then cut the end with the barb and pull it out the way it got in. another way is wrapping fishing line around the hook several times, apply pressure on each side and then swiftly pulling it out, though that way *can* get messy real fast if you dont know what youre doing
As someone who recently got second degree burns from boiling water, i cannot imagine having to deal with it from FIRE in a CAVE for two days without access to pain relief/cold fresh water
And to have a broken leg on top of it? Crazy tough guy he is
Oh no! We hope you're okay! You're right though. Ben was a warrior! 😱
@@RealLifeRescue I am ok now! It stopped hurting after a day-and-a-bit, but the colour of my skin has only now returned to normal! Hopefully Ben is also recovering/recovered well
The sweet sound of silence 😂 good old green whistle
Singlets is too funny 😂
@@RealLifeRescue so funny
1:30
for all those who would like to know
the best way to get the hook out of the skin is to actually push down and inwards away from the barb that would be on the tip of the hook ( visualize a hook in your head and where it is in the skin, push away from the barb side)
then keep witht hat direction of pushing away from barb side and work the hook back out of the skin
its a pain in the ass, and many might go the second route of pushing it so the pointy end fo the hook and the barb poke back out of the skin in a new wound
snip that off
and pull it out the original hole
As a dad of 3 Littles the boy screaming made me tear up. 😢 parents can probably relate
No parent wants to watch their child in pain! It's the worst 😢
I love Jethro! The faces he makes are so funny! 😂
He's hilarious! 😂
Mate that last one was VERY hard to watch
Kids are prone to get overexcited and have a hard time regulating when they cry. It’s so hard as a parent watching your kid get into such a state especially when the primary concern is pain.
That poor little boy was so brave. We will never know truly what his pain was but took it like a champ. And for the dad too poor guy going into shock. Great job bondi lifeguards you guys are amazing
I highly disagree he took it like a champ. Not saying he had no right to react like that, but he was fully freaking out. The sea urchin kid, now he took it like a champ.
@plumdutchess He was younger than the sea urchin kid and the fact that it was all over his entire leg too. It also became a cycle where he was in pain, everything was overwhelming as a result, he was scared which all added up to make him get so upset, then it just countinued and each thing just kept piling on top of one another.
I think considering the circumstances we have no right to judge/criticize the kid for his response or compare his response to another kids.
@@plumdutchess if I remember correctly. the kid at the end had autism (another video I saw on it) now rethink saying he had no right. he wasnt just in pain but also overstimulated, overwhelmed and scared. fear and pain are bad enough for normal kids, but for a kid with autism..
imagine you stub your toe. nothing major. for him that could feel like a cement block being dropped on it.
graze from a fall? he feels like his whole leg is ripped open.
thorn or splinter? someones just stabbed his hand with a knife.
he registers pain differently than you do
It’s not often you’ll hear this phrase but for Cameron that is every parents worst nightmare realised
The boy is a legend indeed!!! ❤and so the nicest lifeguards helping ❤
The hook i got in my hand i told my husband to pull it through whilst i was still numb from the injury. Not backwards obviously. Didn't hurt at all. Hardly any pain ot problems afterwards.
Ouch! How did you get the hook in your hand? 😲
I've been stung by bluebottle and jellyfish. Both are stingers you won't forget in a hurry. Never to be stung again after the first time.
05:26 this bit had me in absolute stitches 😅the music and the little effects😆
Hope the guy is doing good these days🍀
I adore Singlets... He's definitely one of my favorites ❤
What's your favourite clip of Singlets?
I've watched all of these videos so many times, but watching him with the kids tells me what a heart he has. ❤
Fish hooks - aren't you supposed to cut the end off push the hook through so the prongs don't break off or damage more skin?
Yep, Maxy did it the hard and painful way
The kid was probably even more scared and screaming cause of his injury in a completely diffrent country plus a camera pointing in his face
That sucks. One time in a fishing pier a dude flung his hook into my head and hooked my scalp when I was a little girl lol. He said it was my fault I got hooked, too even though I was just walking with my family. Still think he should of been paying attention to who was behind him before he cast.
I love this show! ❤❤
Same it is so interesting!❤
Would love to know homeless man Ben's back story, he was extremely articulate.
Harries, unflappable champion, saves the day again! Hot water denatures the protiens in the sting. Essentially cooking it . Don't know why this isn't the first course of treatment. Not a criticism. Love Bondi lifesavers, always have.❤😊
id love to try a green whistle it look"s so good
You guys put Phil on cloud 9 😂😂😂
I need an update 😂
I feel for the kids. The young one screaming broke my heart, and the helpless look on his dad's face.
I hope the homeless guy finally got into housing. I use to be homeless for 5yrs. Definitely not fun. Everyone deserves a safe place to sleep, eat, and bathe.
Ouch Zack that gotta reallyyyyy hurt and I live in the uk. I really hope he’s okay I’d hate that if it where me I wish him the best
When there is a fish in the leg, you are supposed to poke another hole through the skin and pull it out that way, because pulling it out will cause more damage that just poking another hole because there’s little barbs facing backwards, which will pull out muscle and flesh
That kid should win an award for the most dramatic response to a jellyfish ever! 😆
Bless him I feel so bad for the ltlle man
Hope everyone is doing better ❤
I would like to suggest after watching the difficulties in driving rescue vehicles on crowded beach ,you could mark out a vehicle lane only for life savers or rescuers ,using poles and rope or ribbon ,this would allow your vehicle s to react safer and quicker avoiding the public , just food for thought ❤❤❤ respect
Hooked..lol❤good one mate ❤😂
i met the same kid today i recognised him i was shook
I guess u could say the guy that was hooked is a total catch ahahahahah lol
I can actually relate to the guy who got hooked 😮
When I was going fishing when I was really little, I swung the fishing pole and the hook swung back and into my eye LID! I was so lucky it didn't go in my eye 😊
The little boy at the end screaming and the lifeguards saying "worst thing that can happen on the beech" I know it's clipped up short videos but the guy before had his "cough cough" "degloved" by a dog
My sister once had a sea urchin under her foot, we were in France on a beach... my dad had to pull the spikes out, it was brutal!
Ahh! That's the worst! Did your dad use tweezers? 😱
Dude that poor kid, it hurt just watching, that screaming 😢
taking a fish hook out of your self the hook most of the time has a bard on it so the fish cant slip offpush the hook under the same angle agains your leg and hold it in the angle its inso the barb goes in to the hole the hook made then pull it straight out do not rotate as your making the hole bigger the key is keeping it sraight
I got a fish hook in my neck in the middle of a road trip. We had forgotten to take the hooks off of the fishing poles before putting them behind me in the car. Over a bump it swing off the pole and went into my neck. It was pretty deep but my mom is a nurse so we pulled over into a gas station and she just pulled it out as I’m sitting in our mini van lol! 😂 I have a scar and can still feel it!
I had half of my foot with sea urchin.. one went through pinky toe hurt like hell and I still went to school and said it was just a roach that bit me
that kid will be scared of beaches forever now
oh my god I remember when I broke my arm, the doctor gave me something close to a green whistle and it subsided the pain so much that I thought I was overreacting on the car ride to the hospital- I was literally seconds away from telling my dad it didn't hurt anymore when he said "the painkiller kicked in yet?" and this wave of relief washed over me like "oh thank goodness I'm not faking it it's just the painkiller made it stop hurting-"
14:36 me when my boy is trying a new style.
'Fireman' has the most beautiful blue eyes!
They're pretty dreamy 🤩
That poor kid with the blue bottle hurts my soul
Fishhooks have barbs on them. Specifically, so they don't come out easy. It would be best to cut the ends off before pulling them out when they are through all the way. Rookie mistake by trained professionals.
i got stung by a blue bottle on a remote island, it was horrible it was on my foot and my arm, it left a scar on my foot, we could only put hot water because we had nothing else, i think i was also around 8-9
It left a scar!? Damn! Those pesky little things 😩
Lifeguards to the gunshot guy: I don't suppose.... you've been to... the U.S. lately..? 😅
That was the worst way. You possibly could have gotten that fish hook out out the guys leg you're supposed to push the barb throw and then cut it off
The guy with the fish hook in his leg was pretty good natured about it. I would've swore a blue streak.
I’m sooo sorry for the homeless man donat money to him
Once I was surfing and I go of my board for a few seconds and a baby jellyfish just brushed past my stomach and gave me the biggest stung and it was really red and puffy and It stung like hell
Ouch! How unlucky! They hurt - those pesky little things! 😩
i feel for that kid, if u have ever been stung by a blue bottle u know how it feels and to see how much of his leg got stung i felt so bad for him
I havent been stung by a blue bottle but I have been stung by a jimble and that hurt enough for me. 10 outta 10 would not recommend hope to never repeat. This poor kid.
First! Love this show! ❤
12:55 I think we will all excepting jessie to be the one to think that
1:40 this is why it's illegal to fish with barbed hooks in some areas where the likelihood of swimmers coming in contact with lines is a possibility through some form of loss.
Mate I know how that guy feels because when I was just a eight-year-old girl I had a bloody fish rock stuck on my finger and it bloody was painful
16:24 you can 100% tell this little boy is so scared and possibly has autism bc autism worsens the pain by so much
I think I remember seeing a clip where they came back and someone with them mentioned he was autistic.
If you ever get a barbed hook stuck in you one if its not pushed all the way through then push it throught two you cut the barb off then just slide it out. Also go to the doctor after
Bondi’s finest do it again another life saved
5:41
the indian music got me
The guy that got bitten on the d*** by the dog is a legend because he didn’t blame the dog and said he’s a good boy and it was an accident
5th! I literally watch this show every single day! ❤❤😂
Edit: 30th like!
Ouch! Among these injuries, which one would you least prefer to have? 😱
I don't have a pipi but I should have minded my own business and not search degloving in google....man has high tolerance that he still could walk to the tower for help. The salt water must have added sting to that 😮
The manhood injury. I agree with Harrison, that's the one of the worst thing that could ever happen to a bloke.
@@moonlightsonata8176no he was in shock that wasn't high pain tolerance and he was lucky there was an ambulance there already because you can die from shock. That's why at accidents cops and try to keep you talking about other things to keep you from going ìntp shock
I fell into a bonfire years ago and having those burns scrubbed in the emergency room was the worst pain I've ever felt in my life. And I pushed out three 8+ pound babies without pain meds!
That guy (Ben?) who was burned and possibly broke his leg was a tough dude.
all of the above
The one that had his umm … bit is not afraid of showing it off I don’t know if I should be worried or laughing
Both. He seems very confident 😂
Wait u put the hook back in the lake 😂
I almost started crying because of the little boy I felt to bad😢🥺
Our hearts were hurting just watching it 😢
I remember seeing the episode of the dude that got his pecker chomped, he was probably in shock but glad he got it fixed up.
My daughter had those buggers around her waist. I never want too see any child in that agony ever again let alone your own
I'm sitting here crying rn because I realized I could've got stitches for a dog biting me(my own dog!) And I would hate that, the wound was so deep though
That kid is being beyond dramatic!!! The parent should have taken control and just told him to calm down.
Did u ever got rung by a jellyfish I think not so don’t talk about how he’s dramatic he’s so young and people have different pain tolerants
If you have a fishing hook in you do not pull it Barb first instead puts the hook all the way through passed the eye and it comes out easily.
I really whant to meet Jesse because he is my favourite life guard
What is your favourite clip of Jesse? 😊
Poor kid.
I feel bad for zach you could see the lash
I would have the kids reaction I’m also from the uk 😂
