Thank you for taking this video! I’ve lived south of Rochester my whole life, so I knew of the inner loop, but never experienced it since my parents kinda liked to avoid downtown at all costs. Henrietta was as City as they would get. I’m moving to east ave soon and love this little piece of history I got to learn of the city I’ll be living in soon!
That's a nice lap? Looks hellish to me. The loop, nowhere near the suburbs, helped people in the suburbs? Thanks for blowing up this monstrous mistake, Rochester!
i used to go 120 to 173mph around the inner loop at 2 am in the morning I am the only racecar driver, gokarter and skip barber graduate to do that living in rochester on a regular basis . i would look for debris and people and cops for the first 60mph lap then roar around it at full rpm straightening out every curve to the max in a 455 trans am or z28 camaro or 400 firebird over the years of 1990 to 1994
The loop worked when you learned how to use it. I am guessing the Skyway is no more as well? I liked Rochester when I lived there just not enough economy to keep me there.
Gotta love anti car urban planning that will take place in Rochester. Once a highway should remain a highway. None of this boulevard crap. Hope induced congestion works.

I’m so glad it’s gone from the east side of town! It’s changed so much! There are new buildings going up where it used to be.
