My great uncles former house is seen at 12:04. He is long gone but the memories that I have of playing on that shore with my cousins are priceless. Nice to see all these familiar places.
I dig your background tunes dude...as well as the fishing.
Thanks, man!
I like your vids James....Subbed so look forward to watching! You might shoulda trimmed the skirt some on the chatterbait after you lost a few. A smaller profile, and the shortened bandito bug may enhanced hookups!
Claytor is a nice lake but way over fished. There is a tournament every night all summer and some nights more then one tournament going on.
Thanks man, good video
Awesome video! An beautiful looking fish! Keep up the great work, I can’t wait to watch more! I also subscribed!
Thanks buddy, sub'd ya.

thanks man, subd ya!
Great video my guy!!
Thanks, man. Ill check your channel out!
Nice video brother I liked and subbed
Thanks, Sub'd ya back
@@jamesbernabefishing8532 thank u!
Nice video!! I don’t wanna be “That Guy” but one thing you might wanna consider to improve your hook up ratio is a little stiffer rod when fishing a big thick hook. Tight lines
Man I live on that lake in the morning is when the bites on evening is when it stop and middle day
Whats the smallie population like?
@@jamesbernabefishing8532 decent
@@landonsmith4782 yea its my local lake as well.. prob a better smallie lake than largemouth.. can be really hit or miss... good video man!
@@jamesbernabefishing8532 small mouth fishing is good towards main lake, it’s hit or miss with either fish on Clayton but I can tell you it’s possible to catch studs any time of the day. Caught the one in my pic in 20 ft of water at 2 in the evening in august.
Great video, only been fishing a year, any lessons learned on why they were getting lost on that bad streak?
Thx, Dan. I think it was mostly b/c it was late morning, hot time of the year, and were not commited and catching the trailer.
Can you run wide open at claytor? No stumps or shallow flats?
