@@Toiizloved i think it depends if you bring a lot of kids to pay for. Me and my husband went to the water park one day out of 7. And we went bowling one time and paid and did putt putt during the day so it was free. We didn’t do arcade but grand moon i think includes arcade or had a limit they give guests. I just looked up prices between the two. I picked a random week in November and same exact days and grand moon was 2grand more than Barcelo with premium at the palace (which is highest up you could go with kids). I think it would seem nice to have the kids not have to take money to get into places but unless you have a lot of kids to pay for I don’t think they could spend 2g for the week. I will say grand moon has a better water park but not 2 grand worth lol. But i have never been to grand moon so I cant say if the resort is that much better in general! Hopefully one day! I’ll definitely be looking out for deals.

They have changed their website since the covid reopening. It doesn’t even show that the zip lines are open even though many people confirmed with pictures they are and the price still reflects the same apparently. I hope this is all true! I would wait til you get there because they give discounts while there and even give away tickets at bingo and stuff!

Also, weird question but which one is closest to soccer field and basketball courts? Traveling with our three sons who love sports and the pool! Thanks so much for the help!
Hello! Wi-Fi is included. I would say tropical is closest to the soccer field and basketball court. There’s also tennis that is more by the colonial. You really won’t go wrong with any of the 4. You can around to all the sections pretty easy!

Do you happen to know how to book the dinner on the beach? I’m going next week wed for wife’s birthday and would like to do that. Can I book that in advance?
As far as I know, you can only book once you are there which you can do at guest services. You can do it when you check in when they book all your restaurants. I’d try to do it as soon as possible. Remember if you are premium you get a discount and also ask if you can get a discount using it as one of your dinner vouchers instead of going to a restaurant that day unless you want to go to a restaurant as much as possible. Enjoy!
Weird question. Do they have laundry facilities? If I use the fitness center, don't want to bring stinky clothes home in my suitcase. Can't find it on their website.
They do. They have a sheet to fill out that is with the laundry bag in the closet of your room. The prices vary per item. Then call and let them know you have it ready. They will return it to your room! ☺️
Thank you! Theres clips from October 2020 and then my trip pre covid as well in August. All the beach and pool activities are open including dolphin show. Strikers, putt putt and the mall is open. The main thing still closed is the race track and zip lines! :(
They do have day time pool activities that change daily and weekly! It’s kind of random but if you ask someone at the front there they can help you find out. We did not get bored. The days go fast exploiting the ocean and pools, drinking and eating. Lots of times we would have to take a quick nap before getting ready for dinner. And then by the time we ate, it was time for the shows at night. I do wish they had more Late late activities. They have the club and bowling/mall areas with bars though. I am just use to a cruise!

You do not have to do it the same day. However a lot has changed and I do not believe the fly portion is open now and there’s been many different offers so I would ask someone working there if they still have this discount when you arrive since this was a few years ago now. I am looking to go back and check it out for myself!!

I saw another video of someone saying after 10 pm they have nothing to do ? Do you know if that's ture ? Do they have any shows or anything happening after 10 pm for kids that like to stay up late ?
After 10pm I don’t feel like there is much to do for kids. They do have a glow beach party at night certain days a week that kids can attend but mostly after 10 it is the bars and Karaoke for adults.
They were at the palace and AO at 3pm prior but it may have changed now! I would contact the entertainment team or ask to get more info when you arrive because it’s always changing. They usually have all their activities planned for the week but if you don’t ask, the resort is so big you often miss it!
It is! I’ve mostly experienced it as a couple which was super fun and relaxing and then for a wedding with a lot of family members. But they have a lot of kid things to do as well!
We did a parasailing on Monday 12,2023 and they didn’t send any videos and pictures, despite I pay cash , my reviews to them is less than cero, they still my money, I am very disappointed of the photos company, I want to be clear of that, the activity was fantastic, my reviews is regarding the photo company .I would like to know how can I post the proof of my payment.
I’ve stayed here it’s absolutely fantastic and the beaches are breathtaking.

I was lucky enough to go 2 months before the covid testing started. But it is 15 dollars for the antigen test and they do it right at the hotel :)

Have you tried contacting costumer service? Was it the photo company that works within Barcelo?
