pizza vending machines' have been around for a long time,used to see them near trucking and shipping areas in the 1990s(all over the usa) for obvious reasons and I heard they do well.I drove bigrigs and was out for weeks to months at a time and some frozen pizza hit the spot and we (My trucking company) had several in the shipping depots around the usa.
I don't know if this is really cool or really scary...😲👍🤣 LOL

When I was in Japan pre Covid tried a vending food bot. Not pizza but the food was pretty good.

Back at in early 2000 on the East Coast there was a place called Godfather’s Pizza at HESS Express Gas Stations 24/7 you could buy a Pizza for $5.00 it was actually good and sometimes they made them to order in 10 minutes. I was in college and it was awesome. When HESS gas stations were being bought by Safeway those Godfather’s pizza went away sadly. If I saw one today I would buy a pizza.
Godfathers is good! They have one in my town, and various other states! When we travel, we always grab a personal pan meat lovers when we get gas! I think Loves truck stop has them as some stations as well!

Good video, Jordan. Years ago when I taught traffic school here in SoCal, one of the hotels in OC that we used as a teaching location had a pizza vending machine right outside the meeting room door. It was convenient, so people did use it, but the finished product was terrible and the hotel removed that machine fairly quickly. Looks like you had better luck with ZaBot.
This is cool. We invested in some salad machines a couple years back. The hospitals love them. Now I think I want to get a pizza machine too. Thanks Jordan! Already making plans to contact Zabot lol

They had a machine like this in Adelaide, Australia.
That was a fail, i think the health department shut it down.
I think this is a great idea especially for those who belong to the deaf community and have issues with going through the drive thru
Maybe in the wee hours of the morning , when the restaurant is closed, it's a good idea . But, I see a shift away from human service . I don't like it, I refuse to use self check outs in a store . If im told to use self check outs, i just leave the items and walk out . All that this self serve is doing is putting people out of work . Just imagine Jordonm the day when someone comes up with a robot to do vlogs like yours . It will happen sooner or later .
Yeah I don't always like the self checkouts and things taking over people's jobs when there are people who need them.

I’m glad these things are finally coming over to the states. Japan has so many great foods in vending machines, it’s ridiculous. Some of the pizza in machines over there rivals some of the best pizza in pizza parlors here. I’ll be interested to see some of these pop-up around here, in fact, I’m thinking about actually Buying some of those machines myself and setting them up around the area. I’d imagine in my area I could make a small fortune considering it’s a college area. One by the college, one by downtown and maybe one somewhere in the parking lot of the local mall. Between those three, I’d probably make a small fortune.

A soda vending machine and a whole Pizza vending machine is definitely not the same thing.. even though it's a vending machine by name only!!! That used to be someone's Job and livelihood; nobody had a soda store where they just sell sodas; but there are pizza places where people do sell just Pizza or pizza and a few other things!! This is what the world is coming to!!! A.I. taking over... and humans are going to have less jobs...for income too survive!! Small things like this.. eventually turn into something alot bigger and eventually permanently transition!!! I will not be someone who is helping the fast transition from human beings running things too puppet Masters pressing buttons and pulling strings behind the scenes of A.I. doing jobs meant for us!!!

Hi Jordan and JAH. Would I eat a 3 minute pizza from a Zabot machine?. Yes. Nobody really carry cash anymore. This seem quick and easy. I'm sure travelers who want a quick bite without having to wait in line, would really love this. Thanks Jordan for trying it for us. This would be great in a shopping center, or mall. You are going to need something to drink. Put a soda machine out there with sodas, water, juice or tea. That would be great. My only concern is how it's going to do in cold or rainy weather. It might make the wait longer. Good they have a camera. I want one close to me.👍💯%💕 it. Thanks for your honesty Jordan. I imagine left overs would be good or if there is several people with you. You a good guy to say you wished a homeless person was near to give the rest too.👏👏👏. Like I said if traveling and you plan stay in a motel that night. Left overs would be good for dinner or breakfast. Most motels have mini fridge and microwaves now. Safe travel to you and JAH

These kind of machines can be hit and miss with early pizza machines not having the pizza completely cooked. I am glad that they are improving and the most likely you find these machines at are primarily roadside Hotels or Motels as some people may not know everything of a town they stop at to rest from driving to their destination and these would be convenient to them in getting something to eat there instead of driving around to find a place to eat at.
Someone said that these becoming like the ones in Japan where you get almost anything and everything from vending machines there and not have to step foot into a store and look around for what you are needing and then have purchase it there.

They’ve had these in Japan for several years, as well as lots of other cool hot fresh food vending machines. Machines need constant maintenance and filling. No one in the US has figured out how to make a decent profit on them yet. You would have to own a lot of these I would expect.
Here in WASHINGTON State we have service close to this. It's pretty close to the same thing.

When you said Detroit. I was giving that machine a few days of survival. Southfield is enough away from DA HOOD of Detroit, they may get their moneys worth out of it before it is trashed.
Oh as your in Michigan if you head to flint the Sloan museum is nice and they just had a major remodel and the auto section is supposed to be great and there's a planetarium there also.
