FR, although ppl must have known it was very popular and were like, "Hey, let's make some money of this popular show!" And took it 2 steps farther by imitating the voices and the thumbnails wich is when the fandom of goseworks started to get ideas (bad ideas) and started copying the videos and inspiring others to do the same basicly an endless content farm across multiple sites like yt and stuff and it's realy sad how far things escalated 😢

I’m genuinely concerned about this situation. Ive seen multiple impersonators out there, and most don’t give any credit or say that they used an AI voice. It’s sad to see what some people do and use AI for, and I feel really, really bad for Michael, Alex, Gooseworks, and other VAs and Actors that have been a victim of this chaos. I’m actually pretty anxious about this concerning myself, as I plan to be a VA sometime in the future, and even the thought of what people may do to my voice terrifies me. I just hope that this all comes to an end.
I have used AI Voice changers before but only for trolling friends.. I feel as if using voice synthsyzing is just so disrepsctuful when using it for content. I understand what you mean... AI being used to change, recreate and milk content out of a person. I agree with you, AI voice changers are going to far, at least how they are being used

The Pilot has only been out for over three months and there is already so much going on and I genuinely feel bad for anyone involved in the series who has to deal with all this Bull crap, especially Gooseworx cause at this point she can’t even be proud of how successful the pilot is because of just everything going on between the content farms, impersonators and all that other crap. And while I respect Micheal for being so calm and respectful to the one person making the video about him “dying” and how he politely asked the one youtuber to either take down the VR chat video with the AI of his voice or at least demonize it, I genuinely am surprised he at least didn’t show that he was mad or anything cause I definitely would’ve

Honestly, yeah. This was more harming to Gooseworx than it was helpful. And the fandom of the show is going against everything GLITCH stands for. They just wanted to make fun animated shows for people of all ages to be able to enjoy. Instead we got this.

I’d only do voices for comedy and parodies. I can do Caine, Jax, Kinger, and Bubble but I wouldn’t do what these people are doing. I’d do it just for fun, comedy, and just doing parodies and created stories to entertain people.
I’d use my own voice to attempt to immitate their voices for some entertaining skits like what Tomotasauce does, not use AI to perfectly replicate their voices for trolling videos and then not specify that it was the work of an AI!

These VA and developers of the amazing digital circus spend MONTHS and DAYS to make a season or a episode. they put their work into the show to entertain people only for them to take advantage of it and treat them like garbage. People should be grateful they even MADE this show, they could easily take it down themselves very fast. It's just really sad that gooseworx and the others spent so much time on this really fun and cool show only for people to either come at them, fake their death, or impersonate them and etc. Please respect them people they are really nice and only try to provide us entertainment.
Everyone is using Ai for the bad. I feel bad for Alex and Michael. They didn't deserve this. Ai is getting bad, that a tiktoker's body was recreated by Ai but naked. And she was terrified. How is making content for entertainment purposes wit AI a bad use? Is someone posts there voice online its gonna be online forever, and when they consent to being online anyone that wants to use thier voice can do what they want with it. You shouldn't post your voice online especially on a very successful channel uf you do not want it to be used

I feel so bad for Goose, they seems to be such an amazing and creative creator. The dedication you need to create your own indie show has to be HUGE, and for all of this work, they should be praised and appreciated, and instead they have to deal with something like THAT.
Actors and Voice Actors should Push for laws that make it so Voice synthesizer companies have to get legal permission in the form of written documents with signatures to make a clone of the voice, along with a video of the actor saying they agree to have their voice used, along with any use of the sold voice must pay royalties to the actor.

This situation made me recall something. One russian VA recorded her voice for a big company, company messed up, wrong people did some wrong things with AI (18+ ads), VA lost her job, her life was ruined since nobody wanted to work with her after hearing her voice in 18+ videos, she had to make this conflict public and demand justice.
So... yeah, AI cloning stuff is much more dangerous than it might look at the first glance.

Recently, an employee of a school who was mad at his boss, the principal, synthesized and cloned the principal's voice and made it sound like he went on an incredibly racist rant and then shared that video online. It took months of the principal and authorities having to go through all sorts of investigations after he got removed from the school and his job to find out what happened. Yes, the employee is facing heavy charges but there is damage that can't be undone now.
This, ever since I heard there was AI to mimic voices, was legitimately my biggest fear about it. Imagine how this could affect these shows or the people out there just doing their jobs or working on their passion projects. I absolutely understand their fears.
Drama happens in every fandom. Theres no escape from it.

I personally believe the best thing for TADC is for it to end at 1 episode. It has become too much of a burden for Gooseworx, Michael, and all the others to deal with this shit that ending the series wayyyy early could end this. I want to see more episodes, dont get me wrong, but theres some times where you have to cut your losses. Where that is for Gooseworx, I dont know. But I dont see here having much left after everything thats happened

This is the evil side of AI. Anyone can literally take your voice if you are famous, and make you say anything while impersonating you to get you in trouble. AI needs to be stopped for these purposes.

I... don't think I've ever seen an animation community be so terrible. Not even the Hazbin/Helluva community. I think the best action for Goose is to just shut it down. It's been completely corrupted. You can't just ignore the community either, it's just too massive and loud. For hers and everyone else's safety, I think it's best to step away. Ok I'm not sure I have the full context but a bit of an hot take here:
I gotta kinda side with the youtuber on this one, sure he didn't label the video correctly so his mistake is pretty clear, but he was very polite towards the VA that reached him and he *did* say that he would respect their request not to use their voice anymore, but he is also right when he tells them that he shouldn't take down the video or demonetize it as there aren't any legal reasons to do so, he didn't say "Oh but I'm RIGHT and I SHOULD be able to steal your voices because I'm evil muhahah!"... and when he said to take it to the people owning the software he was also right: He used it to create harmless content, and he was polite enough to agree to stop after the request, but he's not responsable of their voice being captured. Some other people would use the tool to make harmful content, and they did.

I didn't think it was perfect like how Sabrespark and the fandom hyped it up to be, but I think the concept is interesting enough to make me want to see where they go with the series.
