I used to listen to this song a lot when I found out my mom “has pancreatic cancer”, after thousands of prayers and other scans and medical exams turns out the first doctor who put the cancer diagnosis, misdiagnosed my mum and swapped the CT scan results with another patient’s. This song will always hit differently. Thank you for this masterpiece! 😊

I can truly relate with you. I don’t know what it is about music ( no lyrics) that affect me so much. Most of the time the pieces that do that are instrumental only. I don’t know if you are familiar with Adagio for strings on organ (Samuel Barber). But that one for sure gets me. It is played on a pipe organ. Every time I hear it I think of how many times my father played it on pipe organ.
