As I watched the video more, I feel like Arena Club having their own slabs in here is a bit of a slippery slope. The idea that they can be buying raw and assigning the grade themselves to increase the value of cards for these repacks is a little concerning. Not accusing anyone, just feel that it’s always best to be above board not only in fact but also in appearance. I doubt they’d want to, but my suggestion is remove those cards from the repack to enhance quality and overall acceptance
Yeah that seems like a pretty shady thing. Not likely that they would crossover with a comparable grade to another reputable grading company.
100% agree, and using PSA comps for your Arena slabs is just not accurate. if SGC and BGS are lower that PSA value comps then Arena comps have to be even lower
I would rather have a raw card than a card “graded “ by a company selling the card itself or a lower end company.

The market is what it is... If people wanted it, it would be bigger.
Tech is great, concept is great, one MAJOR flaw...using a grading company with very little market history will affect your customers liquidity on the backend. It also puts bad optics on the possibility of grading up cards to fit into these since the retailer is selling their own graded cards.
I could watch you open these packs all day.
I love the presentation, but those odds are horrible and value falls off a cliff fast. Great way to light money on fire.
I personally feel a 10-11% chance at a tier 1, chaser, or grail card is good especially when you’ll get 3 chances at it per pack plus a very strong floor if you don’t hit one. I’ve tried a lot of these types of packs and usually you’re losing at least half your $ or more on every pack with similar odds or worse for the bigger cards
@PackmanCards you read the odds wrong. They are not 10-11%, but rather less than 1%. I think the highest odds I saw was 4.47%

@@Co1be I'm not going to do the math myself and will take his word for it. It's still not good value - ripping wax rarely is. This just feels like the bells and whistles of a slot machine. The industry needs more legal oversight like the gambling industry. This is gambling and will ruin far more lives than positively change them. I would think twice about endorsing these predatory practices @packman. Sincerely, we love you, but this is hard to get behind.

The odds for a hood cards are incredibly bad. This is like mobile gatcha odds lol
The odds (which were updated on official release) are for each card in the tier, not just to hit one from the tier. So it’s really 10-11% to hit a tier one or better in silver basketball when you add it up (as an example). And you get 3 card slots in that pack plus chances at tons of others with higher value
If the card you pulled gets replaced (by a similar card from the same tier I assume), then that’s horrible odds for someone to hit one of the chaser cards. Someone please tell me I’m 100% wrong, because this seems like a horrible repack.
For sure love the transparency but if the odds never change no one will pull the grail… unlike other repacks which have a set amount of cards so odds increase as other cards get pulled.

You are 100% right. It's like the lottery but 1000 times worse. At least with shitty lottery tickets odds there are a limited number of tickets printed. Here they just keep reloading tier 3 garbage as people hit them. This is a complete joke.
I know he was saying they get replaced but my guess is that they don't. When cards get pulled they get removed from the list and the odds adjust accordingly. I don't know this but it is my guess on what happens. Therefore if the grail got hit on the first pull, it would never be available for someone to pull. As more cards get pulled the odds to pull everything else increases.

Decided to try the $50 pack earlier before packman’s video, and although I hit the lower tier for both, comps came in $5 more than the cost. They may be onto something here. Love the transparency. This is still a gamble, but at least I felt I got value.
Dang…Pack got that Floyd Mayweather money. Seems like a huge gamble. Definitely a fun watch. I still just buy what I like. Never was a big gambler. Not for me but really was fun to watch. Best of luck to anyone playing. Hope you hit a grail card!
Nobody genuinely wants cards from a random grading company. In all your videos you post PSA and BGS cards behind your openings not this stuff. Hopefully you don’t continue to go down this path of trying so hard to “change” the hobby vs what you initially did was just enjoy it.

I spent $45 on a baseball black pack and I got a Clemens jersey/100 and a 2021 topps transcendent vip party Ryan Mountcastle /95. 2 dollar bin cards for the cheap price of $45.

I recorded in advance, but at launch, the pull rates were boosted so the big stuff is now easier to pull (10-11% chance at tier 1, chaser, or grail)!
At 20:15 the Peyton Manning says it's 1998 but the back says "Reprint" and you can read 2012 as the copyright date. Did Arena grade a reprint as original or scan the wrong photo?

Not really its not as if the grading gives it any value. Just wastes people's time cracking them open for regrading if its worth it. But most cards i seen graded by arena are junk anyway.
So you buy a pack and rip it as it was a digital card but you actually get the physical card.. pretty cool, i dig it!!

Problem is it's a full checklist that keeps getting updated every time they make a sale. They can keep reloading tier 3 crap every time they make a sale and never give out the chase cards. It's just a digital version of the eBay scam that people have been running for 20 years.

The fact you can buy these and sell immediately on their marketplace to get cash back is both an impressive and smart feat, while also scary if you have an addictive personality. Like top shot this borders on the online casino for me, but nonetheless I have to applaud the transparency. As someone who doesn’t rip a ton, seeing the imputed value of each pack is nice. If people are not overextending themselves and buying for the right reasons, this is a very cool offering!!

Thats a fair point but I’d say these are focused more around getting a good amount of value back most of the time with a chance to hit one of the many bigger cards (the odds for one specific card seem low but when you pool the odds for all the cards you’d make $ on, and keeping in mind you get 3 per pack, its pretty good imo). With each one, you don’t have to lose a ton of $ to try your luck like in past ones I’ve tried where we’re chasing a several thousand $ card and packs are say a few-several hundred and floor is $100 (or that on a smaller scale)
You’re right, cards should be removed from the list but not replaced until the grail is pulled, then everything should be reset.

Not sure if this is a concern you had, but the odds shown are for each card in the tier. So multiply the odds by the number of cards in the tier for the chance to hit one (if that wasn’t helpful then my bad haha)

Bought a football 50 dollar pack and payment said it went through. Now I can't find the pack to open and it has a card submission recent order that is pending for some reason. What gives? I'm confused
Look at your my showroom then it should say 1 cards or more depending on how many you bought when you first get on my showroom it should be where it shows 1 or more cards you got on the top page

Respectfully, I couldn’t disagree more. Despite being offered tons of promo opportunities in the past, I’ve only accepted a few to date, and working with arena was one of them. A 10-11% chance at a tier 1, chaser, or grail card with 3 cards in a pack isn’t good? How high would you have it be given that the floor is very high as well? I’ve opened countless different repacks and you’re usually losing at least half your $ if not more with the same or worse odds. If there’s a product with better value, I haven’t seen it

Hey trout! We’ve worked together for over a year so I do trust them to keep putting out a product that matches their other offerings. They have FAQs which may help, but feel free to contact them on the site with any other questions! It can be tricky to show something’s that are more complex, but a good indication of the product is a ton of the big cards (2 of the grails!) have already been pulled!

Mine as well just consider any card graded by them as raw. Imagine a company grading their own cards that they're selling. Complete scam.
You should do a video. Buy a cheap card that's graded high by them, send it into your preferred grading company and see the difference in grade. I would believe you if you had something behind your theory but if you are wrong, I'd also love to see you say you are wrong. It's a great UA-cam video idea. You'd make money just off that. Yeah Geoff Wilson just had a segment about these types of packs and how they are ruining the hobby. Stop promoting them. They are scams. Unless all cards are listed that you could receive and proof the packs are randomized they are scams. Stop taking money or free stuff to promote these packs. You are better than that. You have the money to spend on these if you want. So buy them all if they are so good and stop getting broke people to buy them..
I’ve tried countless repacks both good and bad on this channel (as that’s a good portion of the content we do). To your points, I do buy them all the time and show people how they are. Also, all cards are listed on the checklists. Instead of just getting rid of them because of the bad ones, why not work towards making a better option? If you have any feedback to help improve anything you saw that you didn’t like, that would be very helpful!

I do agree with the comments. There should be separate mystery packs if Arena Club is gonna have their own slabs in there. And make the Arena Club packs cheaper if you go that route. Incentivizes people to buy your slabs without heightening the gambling aspect.

I wish all the card opening channels I sub to would quit with the mystery packs. They're all such a rip off and honestly have just gotten really redundant and boring. What's wrong with just opening packs or booster boxes like you usually do?

Wtf I just went to buy one and everything’s sold out across the board. You were kinda insinuating the cards were constantly restocked everytime a pack was opened, honestly I was not expecting everything to be sold out when I went on. It seemed cool but knew it was too good to be true
Hoping they get them back up asap! Im not sure why they aren’t back up yet, but I know a bunch of the big stuff was hit and tons of packs were bought so maybe it’s just to replenish with top quality cards after the crazy high demand on launch
i don't like the idea that a computer picks your packs and also can be manipulated into what are going into the packs.. sorta like dancing drums slots you pick 3 of the same drummer boys and rarely hit it big.. the algorithm picks when a person hits big.. the odds always favor the house but i always enjoy a good pacman video good luck to you

Love the idea and concept. Mystery slab packs on whatnot that are $50, you’re very lucky to get MAYBE $20 in value. I love how these packs have a high floor. I just don’t agree with selling their own graded cards in them. I’m in now way throwing shots or accusing them of being shady, but at the same time you gotta be careful of that.

It’s so obvious that the company runs this like an online gambling game. This can be so easily manipulated. There’s no law that forces this company to pay out correctly. I like the design but there’s no way I could ever trust the equivalent to online slots. Love the content and packman, just wish we didn’t have to put our faith in a computer program that can easily screw you over just the same as any mystery gift site
