Oud Satin Mood was new to me in October and an immediate love. I alternate it with my long time fall/winter favorite Rouge Hermes - a hypnotic powdery rose incense.
Very nice list :) My discovery for this winter is Rosé All Daé by Gallagher. Omg, what an amazing scent! It changes so unique during the day. The beginning is more like mashed rose petals adding sugar and honey, but after 3 hours it evolves into spicy crisp apples like angels share by Kilian, but way better. And longevity is excellent. Love, love, love :)
I agree with you on Ani, for me it's great on paper but absolutely hate it on my skin. Stairway to heaven sounds amazing. Can't wait to try some of these!
You got me hooked on oud satin mood and I couldn’t be happier. Have you tried the extrait. It’s the same but it’s better and richer and sweeeeeeter so yummy. I only have a sample and my eyes roll back when I smell it
I agree about chocolate. I had a very chi chi client in my office and I’m not sure if she shoved a chocolate brownie in your mouth before her session or her fragrance was sooooo heavy on the chocolate vibe. However it was literally sickening. Can’t do that chocolate note after that…and on a separate note , I adore Oud Satin Mood, and Myrrh and Tonka.
I love several of these and need to try the ones I haven’t tried. I have similar feelings about gourmands as you and I sampled Xerjoff Symphonium recently and really enjoyed it which was a surprise to me bc I didn’t love it on paper and was weary of the chocolate note. Love when I am surprised by a frag. I need to pull out my Stairway to Heaven decant and try it in the cold weather. I really love Stilettos on Lex by Jul Et Mad too which was also kind of a wildcard for me. Have a great day!
Oh I finally sampled Oud Satin Mood and it’s sooo good. Some other niche frags I’ll be wearing this winter: Initio Absolute Aphrodisiac, vintage Frederic Malle Musc Ravageur, Jovoy Psychedelique, Scents of Wood Cedar in Acacia. I just ordered a couple samples and decants of things that have been on my list and I am especially excited to try Matiere Premiere Encens Suave and Maison Crivelli Iris Malikhân.
I also have Biblioteque, Intoxicated and Oud satin mood extrait and I love them for when it's colder outside. Also Pas ce soir by BDK is very nice and sweet for this season and if you don't mind stronger fragrances Gold Knight by Kilian is quite good and less sweeter than Back to black. I need to try the one from Atelier Materi, so maybe I'll get a discovery set too. Thank you for the video!

Hi i am looking for a warmer winter fragrance more niche if possible that is a sweet vanilla. more of a gourmand but not too powerful not powdery i hate dry powdery i also hate white flourals. I love Delina van de mary i wear it always but i want a feminine vanilla. Tom ford lost cherry gave me a terrible headache. i also dont want to smell like a middle eastern bar so i dont want this to attract men who would also wear it. and i dont want to smell like my uncles Pipe do you have any ideas i want sweet vanilla for winter i want projection not offensive i want no powder i dont mind smell of herbs i love the herb smell in de marly any suggestions for me? im new to niche. i also really disliked gentle fluidity gold :/

What's happening to that baby?? Do certain smell bother you with pregnant that you normally enjoyed. Curry and lemon made me nauseous
Luckily me sense of smell and taste didn't get affected too much 😊
