- This lemony bread is so refreshing and moist! It's gluten free and loaded with more nutrition than regular bread. Packed with Fiber, Iron, Potassium etc from the flax seed. Also uses half the sugar compared to many recipes.
This version omits the chemical leavening agent such as baking powder.
It's still great without any leavening agent, but if you prefer to use baking powder, use 1-2 TSP. It's the perfect way to start the morning, great for dessert or anytime snack,

I love the lemon bread! 💛 thank you! I used sugar free sukrin gold and the bread is delicious with the lemon taste. I used golden flaxseed if it makes a difference.

Thanks for the video. Will try this recipe this weekend. What happens if I just add the flaxseed and not ground flaxseed? Please advice 😊
Hi Grace. I haven't tried to use whole flaxseed so I can't tell you how it will be. Sorry! BTW, my country uses sesame seeds for many dishes, and doctors recommend to ground the sesame seed because the shell of seeds are hard to digest and our body can't get full nutrients. Flaxseeds get hard shell as well so I use the ground flaxseed.
