A perfume tour from a pregnant woman would be very interesting. The sense of smell while pregnant with a follow up after pregnancy. It’s incredible how the nose changes!

As a biochemist who works with ascorbic acid (vitamin C), storing it in the fridge will expand its lifespan significantly. It also isn't going bad in the sense that it's spoiling (being infected), just losing its potency. So applying twice the dosage will compensate for half of the active compound remaining.
Is this true of all forms.of vitamin c, like Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate?

I just recently realized myself how much packaging can make me not want to use a product. It's seems so silly on the surface, but honestly I am not here trying to fight myself on it anymore. I got rid of all the products with packaging I don't like and have noted it for future purchases.
Same here. And also the brand allure is important for me. I only buy things I like for both practical and esthetic reasons now😍
@@trippishineI actually think that this is a smart approach -- statistically, "I like this AND the packaging is good AND it makes me feel good to use" is a smaller set of items than "I like this AND the packaging is fine enough".

I love all the decisions about making a system for yourself + the final comment about the space being your reality rather than an extremely curated, 100% pristine vanity - a lot of organising videos online make us forget that spaces are not only meant to be beautiful but to serve our life! Wonderful when we put some effort into doing both :) thanks for inspiring me to keep this mindset! (and go organise some drawers)

Lipstick drawer trick: move that grid 1 width off the edge of the drawer and pinch an additional row of sticks there. 1 stick width off the front of the drawer too and get an extra in each row. Negative space created by org products is easy to overlook! Thx for sharing this effort. Always inspires me to do the same.

I adore videos like this in general, but something about one of your videos like this is just perfection. Everything about you comes off as so very elegant and the way you move your hands and hold the products? Always just the most satisfying thing.
There is all of that but her honesty about everything is just utterly refreshing. And yes, smells will hit different when you are pregnant.
Drawer inserts might be useful to keep things from rustling around and keep the drawers organized for longer. Or you could try a non-slip mat for the same effect

Love the refreshed feeling that sorting a space creates. Some of my best advice for creative who feel stuck in a rut (mostly myself) - clean your space. It works wonders at clearing the mind as well - plus...nesting is serious business ;-)

My collection is overwhelming and this inspires me to pull things to give away so I can see what I have. There is so much I’m always having to dig. I also love the idea of shopping my stash to have a little go-to collection readily available and seasonal. I’m going to try that. 😊
Not sure if you've seen these (around on Tiktok etc) but clear wall floating shelves might be nice for clearing up more workspace on the desk while keeping your favs handy!
This really inspired me. I'm always overwhelmed although I've cut my collection down a lot. But with some products I am not sure yet whether to declutter or keep them. However, now I'll set up a purgatory box for testing, too. This will help!
Have you thought about putting a drawer liner under your eye products? That way when you open and shut the door, they won't roll around and they'll stay neatly organized.

I loved seeing this little canmake highlighter stick around, I think its a testament to survive a HLP declutter, even if it wasn't a full strength declutter. Highly recommend getting silicone, felt, or foam drawer liners! Your products won’t roll or slide around as much!

Hey Hannah, this is somewhat random and maybe you've heard of it before...but there is this thing called Wands for Wildlife where you can donate old spoolies. They use them to care for small/baby rescued animals

@@ros8986Hi! It’s a little round stiff brush…usually associated with brow products, but yes, technically mascara wands are spoolies, too. I have heard about the mascara wand donation for animal care before.

I watched this last weekend when you posted it and wound up immediately sitting down and doing a declutter that included a purgatory box! It was incredibly effective; apparently that's the thing my makeup life has needed most. Honestly just immensely helpful; I'm now actually working through the things in that box and also rearranging my organizational system so it serves me better in general. Thank you!
