Great work, fun watching you put it together. I haven't made one yet but am thinking of tackling a puzzle surface and put a lazy susan on the bottom to turn it easily. Also, as far as felt goes, great price and good selection at Wally World/ Walmart which I just bought yesterday. Many colors, and for $8 I got enough for several puzzle platforms.
Great! The only thing I would change is add felt instead of painting as felt is the best for jigsaw puzzles. It grips the pieces and stops them from sliding about.
Yes, felt sounds like a great idea for the backing! One plain, solid, color, though. Any patterns on the table will make it harder for the puzzler to concentrate on what the puzzle pieces look like, and give one a headache trying to block out the pattern on the tray, while matching the pieces of the puzzle. This is great as a tray for eating off of, but too busy for puzzling on, IMO. (:
Sir, I truly wish that i'd saw this video sooner, before I my limitations got worse, so awesome!
Great explanation to build one ☝️
If you're not going to talk then kill the sound entirely.
I will take that under advisement

Zahra T. Thanks for the input. I will have to try that on the next when I build.
