I really hope he gets good minutes as a 7th or 8th man. I know Horford is gonna be 6th but Pritchard seems to be really developing for the better this year
You can really see Marcus Smarts influence on Pritchard. He really improved defensively and his strength is really underrated. I mean he’s not going to defend 1 through 4 but he’ll have the odd defensive play here and there which is exactly what we need on this team. Energy and effort off the bench. Last season the bench didn’t deliver and not in terms of skill, but simply playing hard and together. Also, I need Pritchard to spend some time with Isaiah Thomas. He could do with learning to use his body like Isaiah did.
This dude lives in the gym. He might not be the flashiest dribbler, but his confidence going left and right allows him to get to his spots against most defenders. His shot is smooth and his passing has gotten much better. Im not worried about his size and defence, hes surrounded by top tier defenders. Should be his year to break out!
I’ve been on the Prichard wagon for 2/3 years now, the 2022 playoffs showed me he can be one of the better offensive guards in the league even in the bigger moments, people also like to act like he’s a cone on defense due to his physical abilities but he’s surprisingly decent on D and very pesty
Realistically how good does Pritchard need to become to be seen as the 2nd most popular player in Boston behind only Tatum, 25+ minutes, 18 a game avg and he got it. Even if JB avgs 29

His takeover game against Philly was my favorite moment from preseason. So many things to be excited about this season including his role
I have downloaded and edited bball highlights as a hobby this summer and it give me a whole new appreciation for Timi the GOAT
Amazing ball skills…so glad he’s still on our team! Very entertaining highlights 🙏👏
He is 10X quicker than the 7' dudes and runs circles around them
I hope Payton Pritchard continue this shooting coming regular season & play DEFENSE
"The Pritching hour" is GOLDEN😂

He is the best 6th/7th man in the NBA - smart dude that hussles on D and can go to the hole let alone shoot the lights out!

He’s gonna win most improved player this year watch
I think Pritchards ceiling may be higher than people think it is.
I agree, he can easily be a more efficient Fred Vanvleet if given the opportunity.

Small high skill guards can also be good for a long time if they're built sturdily. Pritchard is a tough dude, he could be just getting going.
Pritchard puts in so much work holy shit.
Don’t be surprised if PP wins 6MOY.
I remember last season he was thinking about going somewhere else because he wanted a bigger role. Thank the almighty lord he changed his mind!

6MOTY
how many times you think prichard has watched this video himself?
Pre Season P….
As soon as season starts he all of a sudden can’t make his shots 🤦♂️
