So when I returned the following year, a bit earlier in the season, the ice had formed in a way that is was barely Class 3. I decided to skip it and come back later in the winter when it was more of a challenge. Unfortunately I picked up an injury and didn't make it back. I'm talking ice with a few friends already though, so plans are afoot. I'd still love to lead this!
