If he plays striker, he’d probably be a 25-30 goal per season player but you’d be getting those numbers and higher PLUS assists as a winger. Like the times Barcelona put Messi as an actual striker, it works but it’s restricting.

Imo I can see Mbappe becoming the biggest waste of potential ever. Not in the sense that his career completely dropped but more in the way of a Neymar, like how much he could've become but didn't due to poor career choices.

Mbappe seems to have gotten himself stuck in his own play style and the teams that could get him.
It’s really only like 2 teams that he could go to, and he’s wasted a lot of time at PSG, plus he definitely wants the ballon d’or like Neymar. But if he were to go to Real Madrid he would have to contend with Jude Bellingham. And if he were to go to the prem, he would have to contend with a heathy Haaland and KDB assisting him.
Basically there’s too much for him to contend with. He probably should’ve moved to a team a couple years ago, when Haaland and Bellingham weren’t mega stars that could win the ballon d’or this year.

The narrative that mbappe doesnt like playing as ST is completely false because that narrative was in context that he doesnt like to play like a target man (holding the ball and link up like giroud e.g). Real Madrid has always played a asymmetrical system, heavily on the left side (this season rodrygo and vini always link up on the left, whereas fede and carvajal on the right). Great video! I'm a Liverpool fan and I love Mbappe but I don't think he's a good fit for LFC for a few reasons. Tactically his off the ball work-rate is a concern, financially it would destroy the club's wage structure, and personality-wise he seems to hate sharing the spotlight which will cause problems not just with their current squad but also in the future if they keep developing their own superstars. I really hope he lowers his wage demands so he can have more options!

I think Mbappe could fit perfectly into the lineup as a cf. And with some more very likely transfers for the defense next year Real Madrid could work very well as a false nine formation with Mbappe up top. Also on the other hand even if all those defensive transfers los Blancos are looking for, Camavinga could easily fill in at the defense. Also I would like to point out Real Madrid is certainly benefiting from Bellingham, but doesn’t necessarily rely on him. They have a very prolific midfield aside from him that have also been doing wonders this year, which is also part of the reason Real Madrid have been doing better. And let’s not pretend like they didn’t do good in 22/23 either. Sure they didn’t win laliga, but they made it to the ucl semis, and they won the Copa del Rey.
Mbappe is gonna want to play in his natural position. He’s not some young player who can be molded anymore. He’s got one of the biggest egos in the world and so does Vini. You’d probably have to let go of Vini and look for a natural ST like Haaland. Put money into a ST, a RB, and a LB. You can’t be playing Camavinga out of position every game as he doesn’t like playing there. Those three additions to your team and they’ll become unstoppable.

The main attribute in of Klopp's forwards is pressing mate, Kylian Mbappe is also a headache for coaches as well which is why Liverpool will never bring him in. In my perspective, Kylian is the best player in the world. If Mbappe could go to Barcelona, we'd have to sell FDJ and Lewa. He'd come as free agent and he'd get 20M euros per year more or less.

Barca have not and will not be a destination for top players for years to come. Football has passed them up.
Fit with Madrid could be clunky, but Mbappe is 25 going on 26 this year. They will play a very fluid style up front and I think it works out just fine. I do worry about the press, but I think letting Jude play more of a Box to Box role will be good.
