It’s always awesome seeing someone as happy as us ‘normal lot’ get when picking up a new car - there’s too many loaded UA-camrs these days picking up cars every few months like they’re nothing, and it gets boring to watch all their mediocre reactions 😂 Congrats though!!! Can’t wait to see new content with the car.

My thoughts exactly. It’s great to watch content made by someone who is 100% normal unlike many other UA-camrs who I occasionally watched but the more I did, the more irked I became. They all claim to be such experts because they read a spec sheet and talk the talk but they’re full of bullsh*t whereas Pete is so down to earth. There’s no idiotic driving on this channel either which I appreciate.

- I think you (and Mrs PP) made the right decision, you both will love it no doubt.
- I am so chuffed you raise the normal person - normal life perspective; roof rails are a must on a car like this!
- Whatever name the car will have, you will utter it with a smile on your face!
I nearly ordered the same colour combo, but bottled it in the end ditching the red bits for black for a more understated look; I hope I won’t regret it.

I’ve had my Clubman SD for a couple of years now and have loved every mile in it so seeing all this love for the new JCW is not surprising however I am due to change it this year and there is a very real risk that I will do something I have never done before and bought the same car twice in a row by going for a Clubman JCW

Hurrah ! Absolute best choice ever ! This is my first comment on your channel. I wish you (and Mrs) much joy with this awesome Mini. I guessed right, although for a brief moment I thought there would be a swap between the Audi and the BMW but ... nah, would not have fitted with your image as a Mini fan. I also thought that you had fallen for the DT1 but it would not have made sense given what's in your garage currently.

A no-brainer! Especially as you were lucky enough to borrow one for a week - longest test drive ever ( better than 5 mins run around the block that most buyers get )! First name to come to me was Blanche..... she looks great!

Hey.. I'll ask you the same question I just asked PP; I've got a mint 2003 Cooper S. Don't drive it anymore, it sits in the garage on a battery charger, all clean and polished, I turn it over regularly and maintain it but sorned.. 50k mileage.. I'm thinking I'll properly mothball it until it creepes into classic status and it might provide a pension bonus.. what would you think?... or is it just taking up space?

White Silver is a beautiful colour on a MINI, especially on the Clubman. I can remember being blown away at the colour when it was launched at MINI United in 2009 on the Camden special edition.

I have a cooper clubman in dark blue. Very happy with the car and plenty zippy enough for old fogey like me. You got a good buy there.
