Not sure if this has been patched or not, but if you use the sword glitch to clip out of bounds in the bath house, then avoid the section that changes you into your swimsuit, you can actually place a fence in the pool area itself and confuse the game so it always thinks you're in the pool and are always regenerating health and energy. Super broken, but worth mentioning

Way back when I started playing stardew, I accidentally came across a glitch and exploited the hell out of it. Basically, swinging a scythe(I think swords worked too?) at a fence would drop a fence as if it broke... but the fence stayed there. So I built a cluster of fences and would go about my day. Once it got late or I ran out of energy, I would come back and swing my scythe until like 1:40, then pop them in the shipping bin and go to bed. I could get entire stacks of fences, it was a major boost to my pocket change.
Also pushed my way past the bouncer in the Oasis and was so confused about what was on the other side. Good times, good times.
The glitches have long since been patched, but I can't help but look back and feel a little proud of myself for figuring them out all on my own. These days, I just make up for the lack of income by just being better at the game and constantly referencing the wiki to make sure I get the max number of harvests for each crop. Sometimes I miss the days when I wasn't such a tryhard lol

(For those who don’t know what it was,since it was taken out: you took a hardwood fence into the hot springs, placed in into the water, walked into said log, then walked out.
You would be stuck in the ground as if you’re still in the water and it would constantly heal you and you wouldn’t worry of running out of energy.)

Hey Waligug, I'm not sure if you knew this one yet but if you have one player with the horse whistle, and the one player that jumps on the horse as the whistle animation finishes, it'll teleport both the horse AND other player to the first player.
Quick math, you've logged 150+ hours in six days Comes out to about 20+hours a day. Stop leaving your game run when you're not playing.
my favorite glitch is one i discovered through a facebook group recently and it's to get extra shrine of perfections! fill up your inventory, walk over to your shrine and hit it with your pick axe, leave it there and empty one of your inventory slots then go to your shrine and interact with it, you'll be gifted a new shrine of perfection but only as long as there's none in your inventory or any of your chests. if you want more than 2 then you can sit them all near eachother with your inventory full then hit them all with a pick axe then repeat the same process. i never typically use glitches but as someone who struggles horrendously with the skill caverns because of struggling to find a prismatic shard for a better weapon and needing iridium to at least upgrade my main tools, it's pretty convenient. i also struggle with jade because i don't always have the materials i need to keep making crystalariums, so i only have 5. it's a waiting game until i can travel deeper to try to find a shard😅

i have a short funny story about the multiplayer table glitch.
my friend and I decided to try it out to see if it actually worked, and well it did, but my friend wanted to duplicate a farm warp totem (and the way you activate those is by right clicking, and you put stuff on the table by right clicking) but before I put two and two together, they right clicked.... and used up our only farm warp totem.
Another glitch is with the Statue of Perfection which can be duped by just placing it then axing it and not picking it up again. after you axe it just interact with Grandpas shrine again and you will get a new one, then you can pick up the one you axed. This can be repeated indefinetly.
I like using the item name glitch on chickens to get a second copy of quest items like robins axe so I can keep a collection. It also helps that you can rename the chicken for free immediately afterwards.
The way that the wallpaper glitch worked was that there were a number of item lists, so there are multiple [xxx] items. The desert check only checks to see if you have item [xxx] but didn't check the list that the item you're holding came from.

A glitch which I saw on another channel allows you to get infinite Statues of Perfection.
1. Get enough of a stackable item to fill your inventory when they're not stacked.
2. Take your statue of perfection and put it down in a spot far away from grandfather's shrine.
3. Divide the stackable items to fill your inventory so there's no space for another item.
4. Hit the statue of perfection so it drops as an item. It should just sit there since you can't pick it up.
5. Walk over to grandfather's shrine (which must be far enough away from the statue so it won't be attracted into your inventory).
6. Move one of the stackable items on top of another to leave a space in your inventory.
7. Use grandfather's shrine and you'll get another statue of perfection.
You can repeat steps 2 through 7 to get as many statues of perfection as you want. I only got 8 because smelting all of that iridium is a pain if you're playing the standard game and can't fully automate the process.

To optimize the name glitch I added prismatic shard to my glitch name, I talked to Caroline and mr scam artist who both say your name. Then I gave a prismatic shard to Abigail, Maru, Shane, and Elliot. Since they all say your name if you give them a favorite gift.
Nah, find Lewis in the saloon and keep taking to him. His speech will be like “hey y/n good evening” and if he’s by the bar you can just spam this and get tons of loot.
My favourite is the staircase/Mayor Lewis’ shorts glitch, I made a shame shrine on my farm for him which is his golden statue surrounded by pairs of his shorts
CA said that he liked the item code glitch and thats why he wont remove it
To be fair, many of us look at the date of the video. Things get updated and patched anytime, and we know this.
The secrets woods glitch can actually help a lot if you need a fiddlehead fern for the communitty center but you still haven't upgradade your axe enough until summer
I don't really care about having a "legit" farm anymore since I beat the game a few times with 0 cheats or glitches I've done legit before its time to spice it up
In our first mutliplayer farm, I was grinding really hard for a dino egg (we just unlocked skull cavern, and i'm not good at fighting in stardew so I didn't even touch the mines) and kept getting sad when I never got it from the quarry. So my friend used the item glitch and put wallpaper in the incubator, and a few days later Wallpaper the dino hatched.
Aaaand then like one irl week later I got a legit dino egg from the quarry!
Man your videos make me want to play this game again, I stopped playing a while ago cause I felt like I sucked at the game which I did but seeing all this makes me want to
my fav is when you are in co-op if you and a friend chop down a tree together you get double the wood
I really love that secret wood glitch. It's like "oh damn, I cant get past this fallen tree! Oh I know, I'll just grab a chair from home and climb over"

yep, your explanation for glitch 4 is correct. the game checks that you are holding an item with ID 74 (the prismatic shard). but it doesn't check what category the item is in. it doesn't just occur with that wallpaper either, i believe it also happens when holding the Bonfire big craftable (id 74) as well as the magic turban (hat id 74).
My personal favorite of that instance of glitch is that a staircase shares an item ID with the trimmed purple shorts.

If you have the chest anywhere mod, you can do duplication a lot faster. I found out by accident when my brother went to get a pepper from my chest at the same time that I grabbed it. So you don’t duplicate one by one but instead you keep doubling the stack.
I just started a new save on the wilderness farm (in search for the living hat) and low and behold my cabin didn't come with a chair!! Had to buy one from the traveling cart on my way to the secret woods
The wallpaper exploit has been patched for a while now. It still works for the abandoned Jojamart bundle, but that's best you can do with that
How is it used for the abandoned bundle? Also what platform?
Iirc concerned ape has commented on most of the none game breaking glitches (things that crash or corrupt a save) and said that he's fine with them left in the game if they already have existed in that version but does fix them in future platform releases like I think the item id glitch or maybe the chest dupe (maybe both) doesn't work on the console releases

For the horse fence glitch, I believe it happens die to the way the horses hit box is, it changes from 2 wide to 1 wide when your moving from up or down to either side. And when you switch which way your going the horses hitbox and fence hitbox collide allowing it to pass through
I think the horse-through-fences glitch has to do with the horse's collision box. It's always 2x1 (two tiles wide, one tile tall) regardless of which way the sprite is facing, but I feel like it changes position or updates somehow when the horse faces another direction. So if you walk a horse directly into a fence, it won't go through... BUT if you walk toward the fence as far as you can go, then face parallel to the fence, the horse's collision updates so that it's partially inside the fence collision. So when you face back toward the fence again, you're already "in" the fence, and you can walk right through. That's also why you can only walk sideways through fences, not up/down.

4:05 I mean. As a console player. If pc players are ok with using macros to animation cancel and using a map predictor that shows them every items location on the map. I don't see what the issue is with duping a couple hundred oak resins lol
My brother did the table duplication and we got prismatic shards, bought the bus, then bought magic rock candy which sells for way more. Duplicated those and I got some space boots, an iridium pickaxe, galaxy sword, return scepter, stacks 100 of each magic rock candy and triple shot espresso, and all that at summer 1 year 1.
Crazyyy finna do this with my friend in our world with the rare seed that cost me all my money
@@PandiWitch while you're at it also dupe some Omni geodes since it'll get you most artifacts, then dupe some artifact troves from the desert trader to get treasure chests, which sells for 5,000 so you don't have to sell magic rock candy. If you dupe the rock candy for yourself, you'll have a consistent speed and luck boost and you really only need maybe 1-2 per day unless you're fighting enemies, in which case they basically give full heal.
Are there multiple Robins hammering away when you use multiplayer to build multiple buildings at once?
there was also a wallpaper back in 1.3 that could be used to incubate as a dinosaur egg. Pretty cool
The melee repeatedly to get out of bounds is actually super useful to get all iridium quality fish. Just go down the the beach and swing upwards towards the path so you can get outside the walk all the way around till your far out in the ocean
The multiplayer glitches are really just the game having poor netcode, and since the data for each player is stored locally, if a multiplayer player breaks something/takes something before the farm registers it as taken, it can get saved onto their user before it disappears and then another person can grab it as well

I think the item spawn with ID name glitch isn't too bad considering you can use it if you've gotten rid of something you just can't get again, or to get something that's completely unavailable on your save. I spawned in an Ossified Blade to skin my Infinity Blade with because I just thought it was the coolest looking sword. I also once equipped all of my staircases, destroying them all, right before bed. So smooth. And I wouldn't see anything wrong in doing this to get legendary fish back for fish tanks, considering you could have already sold yours before fish tanks even existed.
One thing I did with the table glitch is use the same concept with furnaces by hitting it at the same time with a friend and it works the same way
fun fact, the green wallpaper still had the same id as the prismatic shard. for the lost bundle for the movie theater, you can use the wallpaper instead of the shard
I knew the item ID glitch one for the start of time and on Pc it give you easter eggs from grandpa, Consernedape, and Qi
i remember getting the stone owl on episode one or 2, year 1 in spring and was creeped out by the hooting on the night screen and the statue being outside of my house with the description "dont know where it came from"

Mate there is something you missed and you should check it by yourself. The thing is you can marry the same NPC as your friend using the same method as for duping items. Get to the same level of hearts with the NPC as your friend then save and try to marry them at the same time! Weird stuff happens afterwards. Enjoy!

I can confirm the duplication glitch works on switch as of today, all you need is a pro controller and joy-cons and you can get 999 of any item it's very easy

This is like the first time I've ever seen someone mention the horse fence glitch. I use it all the time but never see it discussed
I remember in my first Stardew play through I used the wallpaper cheat for my Galaxy sword
me and my sister unintentionally dupe ores in mines bc we're stupid and usually mine same ores and then we both get a drop lol
@webber i'm pretty sure yeah, it was most noticable when we didin't have mining maxed out so like we both went for the same rock and both got the drop lol
The building trick I have used for upgrading the house and when I did that it did not work if p2 was offline, so you need to have them online for it to build.
The item bracket name one doesn't work on console. When you try to use it it just removes the bracket.
I found out about that last night, kinda sad, the chair glitch doesn't work for me either on console

i only play multiplayer (on switch) and i know of so many weird multiplayer glitches. my personal favorite is that farmhands don't get damaged by bombs. at all. makes bombing skull cavern easier because i can be as reckless as i want.
Glitching into the building also works when you are on your horse. I have been able to glitch into the barn when jumping off my horse.
If you use the name exploit to get items and want a really efficient way to do it, on spring 2 year 1 if you talk to Gus he will say your name every single time you talk to him.

A multiplayer glitch that I found while playing so if you and the person ur playing with buy a animal at the same time you will get two for the price of one
The wallpaper for the galaxy sword and item naming is patched in console. The item duplication glitch works and it AMAZING. And super easy to do by yourself if you need to.

I remember back when I started playing some years ago you could actually farm the mushroom floor in the mines. It was such a great way to make money in the early game. I even wrote down which level the mushrooms were each day to keep up 😆 good times. I remember I came back after a break and it suddenly didn't work anymore. I was kinda disappointed.
I think the name one is left in on purpose and was put there on purpose. I only use it to fix tragedies, like accidentally selling my only dinosaur egg. You can do it as a one time thing when you buy an animal from Marnie by naming the animal an item code, then you can immediately change the animal's name

The way i use the item id glitch to make millions in a day is talking to leo in the museum he has a repeatable dialogue where he says your name but its easier to get the phone then get leo back from ginger island

this out with my friend because I was trying to troll him by taking his stuff... and then we both took it.
I think if one person holds "use" with nothing equipped and the other person repeatedly presses
"use" with a pickaxe or axe and then places the item back, it should work.
it's been a while though, so I'm not sure if that's not how you do it, or if it's been patched.

Return scepter, lategame item but it’s so useful to stay up all night and then go home at 1:30

My house started me with a bench, not a chair. I tried to do the secret forest thing, and when I tried to go back I accidentally picked up the bench instead, then couldnt set it back down to get back, Lol

The out of bounds glitch used to be used with the spa to have infinite healing/energy. Not sure if they patched it but I would assume so.
I'm only letting myself dupe until I hit 2 million so I can buy the Return Scepter. I just started year 2, and my only gripe about this game is the time constraints. I can get more done in a day if I'm not worried about the time it takes to get back home.

Personally I think the bracket name glitch is the best glitch because it can be used to get the snake spines without going demented because of the artifact spot rarity.

You can still use wallpaper as prismatic shard in last bundle inside former joja mart. I did.
I remember discovering the out of bounds glitch using a galaxy hammer.
this isn't vanilla but if you use the self service mod, go to Clint and get him to upgrade one of your tools that you don't need massively, then get the one you want to upgrade and the 5 bars needed (and also enough money), go back to him, click the upgrade tools button, then click on the upgrade to the tool, instead of him taking it for 2 days, you just immediately get the next tier and also for some reason, you keep the old one. Pros are that it is a lot faster- I personally used it for watering can upgrades- than waiting the 2 days for him to upgrade it. Cons are that it means you have 2 of the tool now. If anyone uses this mod, hope its helpful (I haven't tried it but I think it works for robin too)

I used the bracket exploit for the community center! Also, I don’t really care if I have a legit file, I have one, but this one is more of a leisurely not really grindy file and if I need something I can use chickens, so I don’t really care. Also, do you have any tips for beating Junimo Kart? The farthest I’ve gotten on progress mode is beating slomp’s stomp and I can’t seem to get any farther. Oh also that’s a good idea for the museum. I’ve never gotten Krobus and I would really like too. Also I have never completed the community center without glitches, the first time I did it was like last October and that was with chicken glitches. I also learned from that that Marnie is NEVER at her shop, but she is there on Wednesday when PIERRE’S is closed. Also Pierre means stone in French. I know that because one of my friends decided to play in French for fun and when she got stone is said Pierre. Also that file is is year three we should PROBABLY get a barn. Love your videos and my best friend recommended your channel to me.

If you translate the german sentence back to englisch it says "a rainbow forged not from land but the sea" which sounds nice, but is just straight up the opposite of what this line is supposed to say 😅
I should check first if it isn't fixed and the wiki just isn't up to date

on pc this might be mutliplayer only i gotta check, but you can use the horse to do the out of bounds thing but your camera will move with you. this might only work on your house tho. but essentially you gotta get on the horse while entering your house, andthen it'll kinda just show up with you in your house out of bounds. idid try this on other places[ the wizard tower specifically] and i entered the tower, froze for a sec but this can be fixed by switching the item in your hand, everything was normal, left the tower and suddenly i'm on the horse
