I think OT2's soundtracks are even better than the first because of day/night differences. I just turn on the game even when I don't play this game and just switching the towns/fields and day/night cycles, those bgms are even better with well-matched environmental sounds.

I spent all day plaging this yesterday. I still need to get my last 3 heroes. I love having Osvald as my main character he just destroys everything with magic. I'm also saving up 100,000 Leaves for my ship.
My wife played the first title three times while I was just watching but this time I got too excited not to play myself so we got two copies on Friday and played the whole weekend by now. Great game, glad I got it myself, I enjoy it so much!
I clocked in 30 hours and am at Chapter 3 in all characters storylines. The characters are all around level 35 by now. I picked Ochette for the protagonist which is a balanced option. Although the most use can be gotten from Oswald and Temenos. You literally often need a healer in this game. Apothecary is useless. Merchant is great for grinding money. Throné and Ochette are about equal in use although Ochette does more damage. Hikari is a great option, but you will tend to want both Oswald and Temenos on the team to have the magic/elemental and healing attacks. Agnea as a dancer doesn't provide power. So 90% of the time it's Ochette, Oswald, Temenos and Hikari, with Hikari beinf shifted to account for storyline progression.
Apothecary is good enough when you use her properly. I think you can try all the characters regarless of their powers because of this game isn't much difficult when you equip the gears enough.

Finished the Games! yes! the 8 traveler has interact to one another for short while and that is for Final chp and im totally surprised by it!... totally not what i expected..since i was hoping for more interaction but im still happy by this..i hope the future installment will improve even more in future if it have any...

I used Osvald in the Demo, so I kept my progress. He's incredibly strong, and he gets an ability to increase the amount of EXP earnt in battles.
