I wear my lashes for up to 4 days...I usually don't have any problems. I do comb them out when needed. What I do is glue them a bit on my lashes and usually by the 4th or 5th day they come off pretty easy. I don't lose any of my real lashes. If I have a hard time removing them, I use any type of Essential oil to remve them without any problem. Hope everything will work out for you!

Been doing this for a while now! I also use regular lash glue too! Works great!
you can cut you strip lashes into smaller pieces like into 3 or 4 pieces and use the semi permanent glue like they do with lash extensions or what ever glue you used here and its way quicker then individuals and more movement then a full band. have you already been on your trip yet?
How do you get the semi permanent glue off?
Ms. Coleman coconut oil, baby oil, etc. any oils strips the glue off.
Ms. Coleman there is glue remover, for example Ardell makes one, iI tried it on Duo individual lash glue and it worked well
I do this too I cut them up into about 5 pieces though n they last perfectly for up to a week
Be very careful when applying semi-permanent glue yourself and ALWAYS get semi-permanent glue for sensitive eyes if you’re going DIY, otherwise you right immediate hospitalisation and going blind.

I was able to do the same thing using ardell lashes cut in half, and I-envy super strong hold eyelash adhesive in black. I had to touch them up hear and there with the glue throughout the week. I tried not to get them wet. It worked just fine.
🙂 how do you not get wet when wearing makeup. With makeup removal, washing your face, showering gym workouts & sweating etc??

Straight cut lashes tended to go spidery after like the first two days. I would recommend trying some mink or faux mink lashes that point at the tip and are made of a more natural looking synthetic.
Is it easier to comb out the mink ones when you wake up? The ones you get at the beauty store are hard to reshape after you sleep on them even with brushing.

Where I live we use 30sec hair glue on both

I would recommend not daily , does create cluster and very bad for eye vision . Previous experience heads up !
Put them underneath your lashes instead of on top and you will increase the wear time.

I'd always applied/wore individual lashes since 1978. The last 2-4 yrs switched over the strip lashes. My niece told me to try installing them underneath the lashline. My application lasts almost 3 weeks. Gamechanger!
I don’t get weeks out of this application technique. But I usually get 24-48 hours out of it. Way more comfortable too.
I have a feeling I'll rub my eyes even more. Just watching videos on it make my eyes twitch in worry.

I had mine on for 3 days. I do the same come in and take them right off. But I wanted to see also how long do they last. The 3rd day the glue was still holding on there. So I think I could get a feel week. I do remember to be gentle when cleaning my face and when I’m sleeping. I do notice when I clean my face the strips get a lil wet they loosen a lil bit. I just push them back on the lash line as if I was applying them.

I've been doing this for about s month now and I love it! the longest I've gone is about 5 days before they just slid off but it's cut my getting ready time by a lot.

Olivia beebop I just don't take super hot showers and when I wash my face I'm just really careful around the eye area and when I rinse I wipe the soap off with my hands instead of putting my face under the water and I use cooler water for my face.

You want to use the metal lash comb to return them back to their fulness. Make sure you create a barrier between your eyes and the comb like a piece of paper. Also try Danessa Myricks Lock on Lash is marketed to last a week.

I did this too and woah i will never do it again!
first day I got tons of compliments, by the second or third day, the lashes kept coming off, some were stuck on and it just looked patchy. had to take them all out by day 4, couldn't stand it any more and they felt beyond heavy. too much hassle and annoying, i'll stick to mascara!

Perfect for short trips when you don't have time for taking care of your face much, but for me no problem to use my serum in the trip, it really makes my lashes longer naturally. It's Cherish Lash and my eyelids feel so comforted after it, I'm forgetting I'm not at home. :)

u should let the glue get tacky then apply. Starr lash glue is the best. u will hv a long hold for ur lashes...

Ky Taylor don’t be scared!!! It was intimidating my first time putting them on and sometimes I still get one on perfectly and the other one needs 3 attempts... start out with the duo glue or a glue that’s temporary... and take your time... you’ll get it!

you dont clean your eyes...you just shower...rinse them off...thats all

Yes but if your a face sleeper u will been them a a jacked up direction. It happens to me all the time. And woke up with one messed up.

i wear mine to bed its no different than girls who wear lash extensions to sleep so u should be just fine! i used to take the strip lashes off at the end of the day but now i just wear it till it naturally starts to fall off and to my surprise i lose no lashes!!

I lost all my lashes wearing individual lashes and it took my 4 years to grow them back. I've never had a strip lash rip out my lashes. Some people cannot handle individual lashes. The weight of them and the permanent glue is too much and cause traction alopecia.
perm glue is so strong im surprised you dont go blind using that much at one time

So, these eyelashes are catching shit all day, and only God knows what they catch through the night.

I really don't think anyone needs to be a professional to know that microscopic bugs are over our face & entire body, all the time. Most children, and all adults should now about Demodex mites that live & breed in the eyelashes if they are not washed often. They will show up, eating oils, dead skin, also bacteria produced by the body or environment. To minimize this shit, keep the area as clean as possible, with frequent
face washing, also lash & brow finger scrubbing. The skin on the eye is the thinnest skin on our bodies...you want glue on it for, how many days? unable to absorb air, moisture, now all night...that shit is stressful also heavy on your lids because it's not natural, your lids/skin will suffer... even worse if any glue gets into the natural lash...the mites will have a feast, you'll then get a rapid infestation of mites.

And it comes with the solution to take them off(hence not permanent). The individual lash glue is made with a stronger hold that’s why I was able to where them for a week!
