    Nice video, but the standardization you talk about is more due to ICAO than IATA. That's why airports are the same everywhere. In a very shallow explanation, ICAO regulations are about what every member of the aviation industry must comply to, and IATA is how airlines should deal with commercial and business stuff.

    Baggage handling could be standardized as well. When I landed in LGA and was delayed, the luggage wasn't on the belt. I went to the helpdesk and the guy said "hey, you were on the delayed flight, right?". When I said yes, he went to a room behind him and there the luggage was. It had been on the flight before and landed two hours earlier than I. So: Would it be asked too much to put the luggage back to the belt when the delayed plane lands? After all, the tag has the delayed flight number on it. Or store it somewhere in the departure airport and into the right plane? Just to prevent passengers to be worried?

    They considered reducing emissions? Because of cost reasons or climate change?
