Hey Johnny, just wanted to let you know that I love Bright Trip. I know the 'views' might not be the highest, but what you and the crew are doing for the community is incredible. Love the videos. And the guides. Lezzz Go!!
Most mechanic shops offer a standard check of fluids/tires/battery. Firestone, where I always get my oil changed, will check these things for free for me. They're supposed to charge $10, but they always throw it in as a freebie. But it would be a $10 well spent, for peace of mind. Check your oil every time you fill up. Oil leaks can develop quickly.
Oh snaps, this was great! Best road trip prep video I’ve found, thanks so much! I am a pretty experienced road tripper but planning a 2000km trip for my family of 8 next month and I was looking for a refresher to make sure I didn’t forget anything: you nailed it!
i'm gen x i still print directions and air bb stuff just in case. I do leave my air bb stuff inside the house with notes of repairs, awesome stuff and what we liked about it or check off the places they sugested.
No! there isn’t any laws in any states (to my knowledge) that make it a requirement. Some new cars (Jeeps for example) come with cars if you buy it with a package or whatever, but they aren’t standard universally.
The United States is still shocked washer dryer combos still exist and consider them “new technology”. I was born in Germany and raised in the US and my mom laughs at how behind this country is. “GrEaTeSt CoUnTrY iN tHe WoRlD”
This is excellent! thank you tube for recommending this video when I searched Packing for a Road Trip, I've been on many but I wanted a refresher. Thank you for the links too! happy travels. I'm traveling for work but I wanted to drive not fly this is awesome!
I too wait til the night before lol. Also I vote P.A.N.S.S

A First Aid Kit??? Here in Germany this is mandatory in every car. You get fined if you don't have one. Is this not the case in the US?
NO.
its not mandatory in Australia as well

Thank you for the S.N.A.P.S.!
LOVE this video. Also, on one trip from Boston to NYC, we saw 41 states, 5 provinces, and USVI. Granted, that was a Thanksgiving pre-Covid... :-)
3:32 did not expect the Johnny Harris cameo
Love all of these tips! I personally already do some of these, but certainly not all. Keep vids like this coming, please!

You forgot to check brakes sir.

Good luck with paying tolls with coins. You probably have a better chance of using them in vending machines at rest stops. But thanks for the tips.
