After an exciting, nail biting, edge-of-our-seats conclusion to the 2024 season which marked 12 glorious years since the world’s leading grand prix monohull circuit started in Barcelona in 2012, the 52 SUPER SERIES again follows the preferences of its passionate, committed owners in 2024 with an itinerary which is a mix of popular proven locations which offer a good variety of racing conditions. For the first time the circuit visits Newport, Rhode Island, one of sailing’s real epicentres where two regattas will be raced, hosted by the historic, famous Newyork Yacht Club.

Love the series and coverage. The sustainability efforts you highlight fall flat. Suggest you acknowledge then do and highlight something (e.g., plant trees; restore some coral or kelp; etc.) to address your massive carbon footprint.

Hello. Thank you all so much for bringing this one design racing to us via the web. I raced for many years in various OD fleets, all over the globe and I do miss it. I would like to suggest that during the live coverage that you all NOT use the simulation tool as much. There were sooooo many instances where the commentator would be giving a play by play of some awesome tack or gybe or crossing...But we all online were watching the BLOODY SIMULATION!!
Also, you should really focus more on the mark roundings . This is where the crew leaps into action ...ACTION is the word of the day.
See the simulation is nice at times. But one really just needs a quick glimpes and then BACK THE BOATS!! I and my mates were super frustrated to not see so many close crossings and lee bow manouvers. Lastly, at the top mark, the camera would follow the first 2-3 boats instead of really showing ALL the boasts rounding the mark and setting the kite. For example, when Quantum missed the mark and had to do a 360. That was HUGE!! But did we see it...Nooooooo... Anyway, you guys are having a blast so please less computer BS and more wind and sails!!!
P.S. You have talked about Newport a 100x, yet you have not ONCE mentioned the dates. I'll check the Fleet website. Cheers.
