Ive been there when my ex husband walked out on me and my daughter i lost it started drinking skiing more drugs even got in to a relationship that was even more toxic lost my daughter to the system... Than the same shit happened the guy cheated. six yrs of being beaten and cheated on i left even more broken than when my ex husband left i attempted suicide.... 3 days later i left for rehab.....broken and. All i didn't allow myself to fall deeper than i already was my daughter was my light my only supporter... 3 yrs clean now

I believe God uses us as tools to help others up... as I was helped up by someones story who made it out of hell before I did.. imagine if there were zero stories of addicts recovering or every abused women just laid down and died right there or every parent who ever lost a child never got them back because they never saw a glimmer of hope because nobody before them went through it and made it out... I found this song while looking for Inner Demons at one of the lowest points in my life. It knocked the air out of my lungs. This song literally described my situation exactly. He came into my life through my work, we talked in the parking lot after my shift until after midnight. He texted me so much I was about to block him at one point. We started going out. Dancing in mud puddles, late night walks at the park, everything was perfect. I was gonna move out of the state with him. I found out later on that he had a kid and was trying to get back with her mom while also cheating on me with her and 2 others. He blocked me. Then came back a few months later and did it all over again. I'm still scared of being sober. When an artist can make your whole body shut down, they're special. You helped me through my depression years ago, and you're helping me through it again. Keep doing what you're doing man I love your message

Thank you so much for the song, seriously, thank you. I thought that a girl I was engaged and I were just meant for each other. We were so happy together, until she told me that she wants a break and to decide what she wants to do with her life. She chose her master/work over me, even though I did everything for her. She meant the world to me and now she blames me for the breakup. I guess I was the person to push her towards the life that makes her the most happy.
