This vid featured one lap each of some of my favorite tracks. You can get up to some serious speeds if you chain enough drifts. Also, it's got a great SEGA Saturn vibe and if the game sells more than 100,000 copies then the dev is planning to actually port it to the SEGA Saturn!
Back in April, I had surgery done on my nose. Since it was not an invasive surgery, there was no recovery period afterwards. I was still under the effects of the heavy dose of Penthrox I had been given, and combined with the pain and other problems, the ride out of the parking lot felt a lot like this to me.
@@samueltaillant8825 Oh, since then my health has significantly improved in that area. It's just fun how that trip was on the way back, because I was SERIOUSLY out of it, and it involved a few hours traveling through a city and various high ways.

short answer: it's a video game! long answer: the KM/H in racing games are just an illusion, you actually move the same speed, and nothing changes, the effects of the screen and the camera movement make you think you're driving at a high speed when in reality you're driving at a specific high speed which is set for a particular vehicle or upgrades making you go a lil bit faster! that's how I can explain it from my POV!
@@Agent-lz5fu no I meant like racing games in general, some games do this all the time and some games do it rarely The thing about upgrades in racing games is that some games make the NPC's slower on purpose making you think you're way to fast etc.
@@yaujj65 games do make your car go faster but it has a limit because of the world building, traffic and you wouldnt constantly crash into something And some games like Asphalt as an example (not the greatest example but one that comes to my mind) when you use nitro, havent you asked yourself why you're not leavin your competition in the dust and they catch up with you easily? Well thats all an illusion giving you the feeling you're going really fast, when in reality that your speed is going like 1,2x faster or 1,5x or 1,7x faster than your previous speed a few seconds ago Im not sure about Need for Speed, but old ones do this do but in reverse, like a stock VW Golf or a stock Mazda RX7 are actually really fast but in old NFS games, the game actually slows you down on purpose, making you think you need upgrades and keep you engaged with the game, then you upgrade your car and got faster, when in reality you got the regular speed, and when you get a very fast car, you become really fast but not THAT fast, plus rubberbanding is a thing, keeping you engaged with the other drivers/npcs and not thinking about the speed of other competition Now the thing about making you going fast and slowing down the npcs, the only game that would come to my mind atm would be the old Colin McRae Dirt games, the more upgrades you put into your car the more the slower the npcs become, not many racing games do this but its one of few ways to make you feel going really fast Sim racing games are a different stories, like sure they may use this illusion too but they actually train your brain on how to act in specific situations, how to take corners, take over, reaction times etc.
Drifting games in parking lots like Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift with Arcade mechanics and PSX / Saturn graphics? Now that is an interesting concept!!
Finally, people are making games that look like the Saturn. Love that dithered transparency and the awkwardly moving skybox, just like old times. Also love seeing New Orleans included, hell yeah!
FIA World Parking Lot Rally Championship. This was one of the games presented on that massive multigame video. One word to describe it...Fun. Especially the vehicle handling and speed. Licensed music? I could of swore I heard singing.
All Sega consoles up to Saturn cannot display transparent sprites, so programmers always left out a pixel to create an illusion of transparency. With a CRT TV or CRT monitor, these sprites look really transparent, as each pixel appears a bit washed out due to the scalelines. The developer of this game would have to install a scaleline filter or you have to play on a CRT to have a faithful immersion.

Good thing I have a actual sega saturn
Does the game work on Windows 10 or any Xbox console ? 🤷♂️
i'll buy it!!!!
and i'll buy it again if it gets a saturn port💵💵❤️

All it's missing was the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater SFX.
Even the transparencies are not real transparencies, just like in the Saturn. Neat detail.
EDIT: Racecar backwards is racecar. Holy sht! lol
As an autopal how can I never know that racecar reverse is racecar
I love how animated and expressive the cars movement seems
I like that this channel occasionally features non-horror games randomly and they're actually really good recommendations.

I was amazed by the vertex lighting of the headlights. Devs are culture of men.
Now all this needs to be perfect is a soundtrack like Daytona USA.
or Outrun 2 😍
Play that music as you play the game
GAME OVER YEAH
All those hours I spent on the Driver tutorial will finally pay off.
Damn, I hated that tutorial!
That mission was hard for me in the first time.
Rally if the evil corporation that wants to build parking lots everywhere in a kids movie won:
This is some gymkhana goodness.
Wow! I'm so glad to see the Saturn is finally getting more attention😊
damn, it has been literal decades since I've seen that many jaggies in any game!
0:48 Ah yes, setting up a racetrack next to a row of unprotected cars od strangers you can dent and fenderbend. Insurance companies love it!
Haha, of course my driving is so good that I'd never hit any of those cars though! :D

truly brutal night "vertex lighting" car headlights.
I gotta applaud the very, very varied, complex, novelty-giving and creative racetracks tho.

OST by The Holophonics!
I’m glad I lived to see the day when a video game turned the roof of the House of Blues into a stunt drifting slope
I'm not gonna lie, this give off sega daytona arcade vibe. Pritty nice looking game 😁👍
This game rocks. I remember playing this game at the arcade with my cousin, when i was 10. Now I want a remastered version of this game.
If there's a game not to be re mastered I'd say this is one of them
This looks so sick!! I love the tire marks and lean on drifting :)
This might just be the game I was waiting for! I love Dirty Rally and Trackmania!
Im really glad were finally past pixelart being all the rage and 5th gen low poly graphics have come back into style.
i was watching a video called “aggressive urban off-roading” and then i spotted this. quite fitting recommendation.
@ABG I really appreciate you playing kinds of genre of games. Always a refreshing change of pace!😁👍🏾
I love this, i'm glad to see how much passion this game has, and port this to the Sega Saturn would be nice!
this really gives me dirt 3 gymkahana
God those glorious jaggies.
Still can't believe this is from the guy who created jelly car

Shiiiet we got the Drift King showing off here
ABG plays only the coolest games man, I swear!
Time to pull out the Teriyaki Boyz playlist for this one!
I cant wait to play this one!
This would have seriously been a classic back then. I'mma get it when it's out.
Good this is just the tutorial level from drive on ps1 I'm getting PTSD
First time seeing this but I had a dream of a game exactly like this with the same graphics, except set in a Japanese parking garage in the 90s
'Stunts' on steroids!
Oh this is bonkers, high octane racing is an automatic wishlist for me!
Hope we get a nice dither filter built in so that I won't need an external program to make the dithering work.
Me when I have 2 minutes left to get to work.
wow this game looks incredibly fun what the hell...great driving too 👏
The first 45 seconds or so looks like the parking levels of a hospital in my city 😁
This looks like so much fun! I gotta play.l
to be fair this is way closer to garage drifting or even more fair, "fast and furious tokyo drift".
i always wanted to try Street-X races on the Drift courses
This being a Saturn game really needs to happen !!!
Man, haven't heard ska in a videogame since like.. what, Rogue Trip?
This is silly. I like it. The cherry on top of the game’s charm is the false sense of speed, with the camera zoom-out and the particles whisking by

Honestly, I'm sold. I'm going to buy a racing wheel just to play this game more properly.
I wonder how this was developed as the graphic style is very close to indeed a Saturn game.
It's like the old dos screamer game. Or maybe Sega rally game. I played these games back in 1998.
God, I love the tire screech echoes! 🛞💙
This game is so ridiculous. And fun.
Casually classing modern Need For Speed with a retro style? Yes please.
