Because tearout breaks died with the dubstep explosion in 2007. It'll come back around though. Elektroshok was putting out some sick shit around 2012. Has a less reece synth vibe. Tighter and more electro (duh) inspired in it's flavour, but still heavy as fuck and infinitely danceable. Essence - Aggresivenes is a good one. If you want something more like this circa 2005 to 2007 rektchordz - horror-fi is a certified banger
There's a really good breakbeat scene in Spain. Guys like Nitro ESP, Mutantbreakz, CODE BREAKERZ, and the British guys like Breakfastaz and Ed209 are still on the go.
Saw breakfasts at fabric 2004 I think. Great night. Break beat was great. Every friend loved it, we all used to have a boogie. 10+ mates all getting down dancing lads and lasses. Great to do long motorway journeys also. Remember 90mph for 2-3 hrs made it a pleasure, and helps with reactions I think also.

Why can't I find a 320 or wav of this anywhere :/ Their whole dsicography seems to be on beatport but this. Used to have it on vinyl back in the day but no luck with a digital copy.
anyone read Neal Asher's INFINITY MACHINE? If I made film of it, this would be the soundtrack to the final showdown between The Brockle, Penny Royal, Amistad, Riss, Earth Central, The Aetheter, the whole shanbangabang.

I think the guys that made up The Breakfastaz are still about, just produce under different names and probably gave up Breaks altogether. I don't blame them, Breaks became a dirty word and as a result, a significant amount of the producers involved moved on many years ago - when music is your sole $ source, and a sound is considered defunked, then there is little incentive to keep at it. It happened to Breaks, has happened to Dubstep in recent times as well, but like all music genre's that were once kings of the world, they go through cycles and tend to still maintain their scenes across the world. To be honest, Breakfastaz were part of the whole tearout issue that helped the scene eat itself and stagnate, so even though they were great and had their place, I can understand why it got to a point where they probably didn't want to bother anymore. Maybe one day when we have more of a serious resurgence in interest in breakbeat music again, they'll consider making a comeback - we'll just have to wait and see.
@@alexbirminghan9332 At least where I live, Electro House (and to a lesser extent Dubstep) were the death of Breaks, circa 2005/2006ish. People wanted a new sound to get excited about in the clubs, and they had grown bored of the usual suspects touring and playing very similar sets all the time - it just wasn't interesting for the average punter anymore (the people that weren't making an effort to find events and raves where the sound was still being pushed) that wanted to head out and gurn until the the club closed without having to be too informed on the music (nothing wrong with that, everyone is allowed to have fun without being a music nerd as well). The irony is that nowadays, where you get far more versatile sets that also tend to have a nod to the past in their sound, breakbeat music is still there and people lose their minds for it when the beats and bass kick in. We may not call it nuskool breaks anymore, and the sound certainly has moved on from when we used terms like tearout, plodstep or tech-funk, but the music is still out there and is well received when played at the right time to the right crowd.
@@pageup213 all your comments are spot on about the breaks scene. I use to play loads of from the early trip hop, onto big beat then settling on various aspects of the bass heavy be it tear out or a more proggy bass heavy vibe. I'm just waiting for it to have a rebirth and I'll be well away lol, except mine is all on vinyl. But you are correct about when ppl do hear a taste of it they want more. I had to laugh once when some 18yr old we're chatting about the tunes and describing it as dubstep but faster lol. Technically true but the lineage of the genres was the other way round with dubstep being the new kid and pretty much killed nu skool breaks in my area. The clubbers today have a whole load of bass tunes they know nothing about! You can tell by the fact the view count on yt is so low for classics from botchit and scarper label for example.

Fierce! It's hard to beat the thrill of amazing breaks.
Going up the scale at the end of the phrase with the bassline provides such a sick groove.
This is on the Funkydesertbreakz level. Respect Koma and Bones for holdin it down!
