    MLK is one of the men the Lord sends to this earth every 5 thousand years to show mankind where he is going wrong, I'm a white man not that it is important, but MLK is my hero and because of that all mankind whatever colour or faith will have a place in my heart, forgiveness is the most important word in the English dictionary RIP MLK never forgotten

      "MLK is one of the men the Lord sends to this earth every 5 thousand years"
      I agree, I am not a Christian and MLK pulls at my heart strings and spiritual consciousness. I have yet to hear one speech or writing by MLK that has not caused a tear to fall from my eyes. We've come along way but there is still room for healing.

      I can very honestly say that after listening to that message I, as a white Christian conservative Trump supporter, find not a single word to disagree with Dr King....and while there is enough blame to go around... who's to say that a black leader like MLK couldn't lead this entire nation out of the horrible State in which we are in today...God bless Martin Luther King....he certainly knew the secret.... Love your enemies...

      Mmm it's pretty funny to watch the white evangelicals imitate the stereotypical black Baptist preacher. In fact, it's funny to watch some black preachers do it - remember Obama's controversial preacher Jeremiah Wright... definitely guilty of that.

      +Jeremiah Daniel I think it's a little more nuanced than that. Malcolm X was evolving. In his last years, he reached out to King and, after leaving the Nation of Islam, was poised to work w/ him for human rights. But he was murdered. Like King.

    • @JeremiahDaniel1995
      @JeremiahDaniel1995 8 років тому

      +spiralsone still died in vain and still died in his sins despite words and actions that (took) place as of past tense and not present test in which (takes) place for people to know that after X's death he was another problem in not just Black society or American society but even just the universal society in which that loves stops hate and hate stops love and you can rise up against someone by coming down there level the racism still exist from whites but it dies off and after King's death he showed that he didn't see the color and be (little) Malcolm X's so called intelligence and not undermining the fact that he was murdered and that even John F. Kennedy loved everyone (not) from a racial, sexual, national, or religious stand point he only state that he was murdered for what purpose in did it have to happen to people like him and and that if someone has not done you wrong that another person will not do you wrong for no reason or no purpose in what shape, or form, let alone fashion statement that says the U.S. American gangs are because of the B.P. moment such as the Crips and Bloods for example and that these two gangs let alone brothers in arms who are from the different parties of hate only state that blacks where and still are being labeled as criminal as if someone like King or ''X'' and other Civil Right Leaders say things like 'We Died and Fought for ya'll. So why are ya'll still killing murdering each other for what reason is a black on black crime or a white on white crime let alone even self pride and self hate of people who show no remorse or any dignity of being human so I don't want to state or debate using any other resources that are valid that can only say that there is no such thing as unpredictable in (my) vocabulary because shouldn't people already know that not even flesh and blood can be trusted and that there is a lot of evil in this world and that there is not dubt in my mind that Malcolm X was his own worst enemy.

      +spiralsone So true spiralsone, Malcolm X was taught by a very slick man called Elijah Mohamad and Malcolm X was duped by Elijah. When Malcolm X found out and saw that Elijah was a very bad man that was a lover of power, misdeeds, money and sin, and he (Eliljah) knew Malcolm would do the right thing and tell the truth about his misdeeds, and denounce it to all, he had Malcolm X murderd. I think Malcolm truly tried to do the right and paid with the supreme sacrifice.

I understand what was going on in society, the condition of society I was growing up in. There is not much difference today. I pray for his soul to rest in peace. His teachings continue on.

I read many Sermons from the 17th c. onwards and his Sermons are very goldy listen to them and learn what Christ calls all of us who believe to do in our lives. I never got to meet you Dr. King but your work was by no means in vain I will Show the world through my life yours was what we all should be doing as persons of conscience.

      Natalie D - Why "right now, with this administration in office."? We finally have an administration that has raised the black and hispanic employment rate. We finally have an administration that follows the Constitution, and restricts itself to its legal role. We finally have an administration that brings policies that will result in true dignity for immigrants (forcing Congress to do THEIR job, and deal with the DACA people, rather than the racist "kick the can down the road" policies of the last administration.
      Do you mean that President Trump needs to forgive all the people who have done so much wrong against him?

    This fella is as much of, honestly if not more so, a darn genius, and thought so incredibly far ahead of his time, as Einstein. An indescribable loss to mankind in a whole; and I would absolutely love to speak with(more or less listen ha) him. Chivalry and simple character couldn't be displayed more elegantly. The fella walked through hell smiling man. if you can't respect that, you can't respect much of anything.

    Wow my mother was born 7 months earlier. But I can listen to his words of wisdom all day long..I believe he was sent here to comfort this world rather through peace or resistance. The Moses of our time! It would have been an honor to have met him in person.

    It's amazing that MLK, with his speech technique and vernacular could capture the heart and soul of people. Many who at the time did not have the same advanced vocabulary and English understanding as he. Instead he preaching down, he was preaching them up. May humanity go higher in God consciousness

      I am grateful for Martin Luther king because he was a follower of what Jesus Christ done for us on the cross him and others like moses and harriet Tubman was used by the eternal God to teach us how to love each other and how to forgive each other Jesus done the hard part because for thirty three and a half years Jesus walked upon this earth inorder to being us the truth there were many haters then that came against Jesus because they didn't want us who need and wanted what Jesus had to offer us to receive so they came after Jesus with hatred and violence because satan had a grip on them anyone that chooses not to love but hate they have allowed satan to blind them to the point that they wants to stand in the way of us that wants to be loved unconditional to be forgiven si they fight against us daily knowing the truth but have chosen to believe on satan lies and their own but one day Jesus is going to put and end to hatred and violence and every evil works of satan and Jesus will soon destroy satan and his kingdom forever so right now we have to push forward and keep pressing forward knowing that there will be no more hatred n8r violence for the old things of this world will vanish and all things will become new the eternal God has also revealed in his Holy words that he will wipe all tears from our eyes so we hold on to what is to come were we will be of one accord under the government of the Almighty God and Jesus Christ with respect for each other and unconditional love freedom to live with each other regarless of the color of our skin thank you Jesus for helping us to forgive each other .
