Thank you so much for your honesty. This is very encouraging to not rush the process- as someone in the mid 20s- and not feel rushed. I think social media makes us look at the milestone and not consider all the things that come with it. I look forward to when I can be ready, but I’ll be content while I prepare. 😊
Love this! I agree that social media makes it look like you should accomplish all the milestones in your early twenties. But sometimes we are not ready for it. no rush 😃

Most of these tips are why my husband and I decided to build for our first home! Love seeing all your home tips, home buying is stressful but so exciting!
@@soul2deep578 I’m not sure if I would say easier, but it just made since for us with where we were at in life. I recommended looking into both and touring lots of homes both new and old. We had to do that to decide what we wanted to do. Do your research and a get a relator that wants to help and not just in it for the $$$.
Congrats on purchasing a home! Owning a home is definitely a lot of work and expenses, but it's also very rewarding, as you said. Could you do a video describing all the expenses you have in your new home?
I been wanting my own place since years but I always had setbacks, Seeing this is my inspiration to get the house I want. I am a new subbie and Been watching watching your videos.
This is SO HELPFUL GIRL! Thank you so much as we will be buying at the end of this year and I whilst I have a father and brother who are builders, they lead very busy lives and it can still be hard for them to help me even in my little home I have now lol. So I totally get it! Lol Great tips on all points and I am so excited to see what houses we will be choosing from when the time comes. I also did real estate photography for 4 years and I still have no yet found the home in my budget that I want so wish me blessings and luck! Lol ❤💖
That’s why you hire a contractor. Contractors will talk directly to insurances, we know how to approach them. They don’t want to pay but we have our ways to deal with them
Does your roommate has a renter insurance? Technically she is renting from you. That’s like having double coverage. You are covered because of your homeowner insurance. And coverage for your roommate because she will have renter insurance.
Is this Richardson, Texas, we have a construction company and a lot of pipes are breaking because they are old. We have a lot of clients calling us to fix water pipes issues

Not just “renovated” as anyone can renovate and update a nice family home. It’s people (usually real estate investors) who buy distressed/foreclosed homes at low cost with the purpose of fixing them up (some times just putting lipstick on a pig) and reselling them at a profit. The house likely needs a LOT of work, and the flipper often puts profits over safety and function, thus costing the next homeowner crazy costs in repairs. At my flipped home, we found a lot of issues hidden behind freshly painted walls and new flooring. Lesson learned.
The thing with newly flipped houses are that, they used the cheapest material, they cover things that are progressively getting worse but not at its worse yet, to get the house sold. And those things that were progessively getting worse eventually eventually become your problems that you have to spend extra thousands of dollars on within a year or so. So sometimes, if the time allows, its always better to just get a property that is not renovated, so you know what is put into your house.

I own a condo by myself and it’s easier. Don’t have to worry about half these issues. Mine was also move in ready.
lucky! HAHA
I’m thinking of getting a condo too, less work really. Nevertheless when things break you still have to get someone to fix it or do it yourself 🙄
This is kinda what I want tbh, not a house rn
LOVE this video!!! Sooo useful and helpful! I always trust your advice & I’m loving this series! Thank you for being so open and honest!

This was a great video! I’ve been waiting for the second one! Can’t wait for it to drop!
Mexican contractors are reliable and honest I would consider them bc their really humble and work well!
Yes but don’t just go with the first mexicans lol you need to have a connect!
The smoke detector tip is a great one, I will have to check that
glad it helped!!!

Renters insurance basically covers her roommates personal property in case of theft fire flood. Not so much on the home.
Ahhh !! I always get so so excited to watch your videos :) xx
Congratulations, on purchasing your first home🏡 🙏🏾Blessings
Excited for the next video! ☺️ this was helpful
Thank you SO MUCH 💗💗💗💗
this was such an amazing video

The exact same reason we put a smoke detector in our attic!!!
Definitely get a good home inspector, we had to fight for a refund from ours!
Lmao im 13 theres no reason for me to watch this but ive been binging these videos 😭😭
You always get flooding insurance it doesn’t matter the area
Especially with Climate Change, everyone needs to consider it, no matter where they are.
This information is so valuable.
Do you believe that when people own their homes, they become their parents just like in the Progressive commercial?

Get a good inspector and never buy a flipped house. Most people that flip houses do it the cheap way and not the right way!
What’s a “flipped house”?
Absolutely right!!
@@EsiriE a house that is recently renovated

Great tips. Now I need to go ask my husband if we have a fire detector in our attic.
Inspector and insurance and smoke detectors
Id add if you have a larger vehicle make sure it fits in the garage
Hi first I love your content
I’m 4 minutes in and what I’ve heard so far is it’s time consuming and expensive and she didn’t know that. This video is not for me. I do not relate.
God's provision! ❤🙏
Great video! You got this. I couldn't help but think that a lot of the things you mentioned would be solved with a husband 🤣
If you don’t have an attic where else should you put a smoke detector?
Omg 😳 so true
Hey Jeanine, you are so beautiful !! Love you always ☺️☺️
Did you record this with the canon r5?
Hi Jeanine can you please do an updated skin care routine your skin looks amazing ❤️
Hi
Girl I love you but you gotta stop saying “thus far”😂
So many untrue things in this video. Take some time to research these tips before implementing them.
This girls naïveté is on another level 🤣 gonna be alone forever

You should have listened to Dave Ramsey before getting a house lol he talks about home buying 👍🏽
Dave Ramsey just teaches you how to be poor. Horrible home buying advice he doesn’t know a thing about it
