To protect my grill, I made a “screen” out of some “perf” steel. Then I hung a strip of conveyor belting on the INSIDE of my grapple, the length and width of my grapple, to keep small sticks from poking through.
I keep the grapple on on my L2502 98% of the time that I use the tractor. There’s always something that needs to be moved or hauled over to the burn pile. It’ll definitely save you some back pain. Good video.
Hey Mitch ,l'm Sure glad that you "down-shifted" to low range. When ya were in mid-range the "Hydro-slack-o-howl-o whine-matic's" / Trams-mission was warping the swash-plates & buckeling the piston-plungers. Upon futher obsevations, l seen how close you came to "twist-a-flexing" those "Way out front" tie rod Stearing linkages ,when "Bull-dozzing" on those Imbeded Boulders... "if ya can't spin all Four wheels,yer Not in a low enough gear".! With all kidding aside/ you & me both NEED to "Structurally Re-In-Force-a-late" our front Bumper guards ,with sum HEAVEY-DUTY Armor-plateing. After all "kubogy-parts" are 5 times more expensive than ya think! Thank you Sir for the Excelent vidio and happy safe tractoring. Best wishes with all your endeavours.
@@Academy_Farm That was Quick! Just take it easy ,& try not to impress use with the "Ramming-speed Shenanigans ". All yer vidios are Very Impressive, Inforamative, Construtive,& Entertaining just as they are.
A couple of thoughts and/or observations. From the side view you weren’t kidding about the low hanging hydraulics; can those be wrapped up any way to protect them better if you go over something? Secondly, were you in 4 wheel assist? You could see the back wheel spin but not the front. That tractor is a workhorse and I can’t imagine being on our homestead with our John Deere 3 series, those “little” 25HP tractors do a big job for those patient enough! Great video!
With the clamshell closed, and the curl fully out, there isn't much slack left. I am dreaming up a sleave of sorts. I was in 4WD for the second part of the video, but probably started in 2WD. Only had to engage the diff lock a couple times over the uneven parts. Thanks!
